Hello everyone, life long fan of the Monkees here looking forward to posting and talking Monkees.

I have a good video tribute to the monkees and I'll try to figure out where to put it on this forum.

My name is Eva, I'm 32 years old, married with a child, a boy named Bart and he is 5 years old.
I live in the Netherlands and have a part-time job in a drugstore.
When we got cable tv as a child I saw the Monkees for the first time and I was hooked as a 8year old. I learned speaking english because of the show ( who wrote that stuff!!), and Davy Jones became my first love, hihihi.
As I grow older I forgot all about them, as my music interest chanched, but a few...

I just wanted to say hello to everyone here. I'm new to the board but i have been visiting for a few months. I've been a fan since 1986 when my mom made me watch the reruns on Nickelodeon. The show grew on me and i've been a fan ever since. Does that make me a 2nd or 3rd generation fan? My 8 year old loves them now his favorites are Micky and Peter.
I would love to have someone to talk about the Monkees with, so i guess i'm at the right place. My husband and friends...

Hello Monkeeland, I'm James from Boston. I've been a Monkees fan since the mid 80s. I've watched their show from Nickelodeon and WLVI 56. I also have some of their greatest hits albums and I've attended a concert as well. I've always enjoyed the Monkees music and tv show and the whole story behind their success and the aftermath.

How did you get here?

Hey Everybody,

I'm new to Monkeeland. Been looking for some people that I could talk to about the Monkees... that wouldn't give me funny looks. (Most of my friends at home do.)
I've been a fan since '86, thanks to my mom and MTV's Monkees Marathon. (Though my interest didn't truly grow till '97... since I was only 3 in '86.)
My favorite Monkee is Peter. I just absolutly admire him and think he's one of the smartest and strongest people...

I don't remember if we've ever done this on Monkeeland or not. I'll start.

1) I had a stroke when I was 3 months old.

Hi. I am new to Monkeeland but not new to The Monkees at all. My favorite Monkee is Peter and I co-own a Yahoo Group dedicated to him called The_Miracle_Of_Peter_Tork. I'm Allison, 22, and live in New York City but I'm originally from Ohio. I've been a Monkees fan for half my lifetime (which I figured out last night.. so weird), but I'm new to the board. Back in the golden age of Monkees, I had a fansite and am currently working on a new one with my best friend (check it out, although it's not up yet! Warning, there are swears, but they're used in good fun.

Hello everyone. I've been looking about the forum and not quite sure where to post this.

My name is Susan Klein but back in the day I was Suz Macdonald. I worked with some Monkee fan club people, Sandi DeMastus (Peter's club) who lived in Washington state and Debbie Brown (a Micky fan who ran Michael's club) who lived in Indiana.

I go by the handle Papanez45 and my name is Jim,but my friends just call me Pops. I'm 63 years young and have been a Monkees (Nez in particlar) fan since 1966,when my wife and myself visited the set of their show. It was in August and they were filming 'Monkees A La Carte'. Happy Anniversary!! Hello, I'm Donna, Monkee/Nez fan, c.1975. A little more than a month ago I started searching to see if anyone had heard anything other than the official line about a few things... maybe remastered HEAD w/commentary, Nez' 2nd book...
