"Signature Creation For Dummies?"

Could somebody please give me a crash course on how to create a signature for my posts? Corey has kindly granted me permission to use her "Peter's beloved mob" bumper sticker, and I saved it and transferred it to Photobucket, but I can't figure out how to turn it into a signature. I see the "My First Signature" box down below in the "Post Options," but I can't figure out how to use it. Help!!!

I've been reading thru previous posts here on Monkeeland, and I think I've run in to something a little odd... or maybe it's just me.

When you post a messege one day (let's say Sunday) , and then you post a few more over the following days, and then on Friday you go back to the one you posted on Sunday... it still says the # of posts you had the day you posted... instead of the # you have currently. Same with signatures and icons.

I don't get it.

Prompted by the question in this forum, I thought it might be helpful to start a list of good&cheap, or just plain good (if they cost a little more) domain registrars/hosting companies. There are a lot of cheap companies out there, but they often come with consequences - more downtime than uptime, no customer/tech support, and the inability to cancel your account or transfer your domain.
