Instumental Monkees Songs/Sampling/Lyrics

Okay so I got to thinkin...just how many instrumental Monkees songs/samplings/lyrics are there out there? I have a few in my LP collection (which are buried under the stairs). For the instumental stuff, I have:

1. Floyd Cramer Plays The Monkees

2. The Living Strings-I'm A Believer And Other Hits

3. The Golden Gate Strings Play The Monkees

4. The Manhattan Strings (dunno about the title and I'm not sure if I have this one).

Today, I was watching the Polish Constitution Parade in Chicago on TV and one of the first bands to come by the review stand was playing: ' I'm A Believer! '. Can you believer it! I don't think I've ever heard a Monkee song performed in any parade. (course they could say it's a Neil Diamond song) Naaaah! The Monkee songs are finely being accepted more.

I ordered the double disc Definitive Monkees from Amazon a while back. They temporarily ran out of stock and sent messages saying I could cancel my order because it was hard to get the item, but I still wanted it because I paid for it by check & they have the money in my account. So, I've been waiting patiently. I see that they have it in stock now, so I'm hoping that it gets shipped to me soon.

Hello All!

I posted this in the "Help" section, but I thought I'd post here as well incase a few more eyes might see.

I'm planning a trip to Europe in July which will include Paris. Obviously the guys were at the tower, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of any specific places they were at, like the park they walked around or the pool scenes where Davy and Peter were, etc.

Some of the flip sides of the Monkees' singles were as good as, if not better than, the A side. Some of them were "Take a Giant Step" "Stepping Stone", "The Girl I Knew Somewhere", "Words" and "Goin' Down." I know there are others from the later years but cannot think of them. Can anyone help me here? And, which do you think was the best?

I have a question about the Monkees reunion in the 80s. I mentioned it to someone online, and they said that the revival and interest fizzled out after just a few months. Is that true? I always thought it was longer than that. I mean, from what I've read and remember, it seems a lot longer than that. But I was just a kid so, I could be wrong. But I think that person is wrong lol....
