A brand-new newbie here...thanks to all of you and also to the mods for the warm welcome on the "Hello" board! I mentioned in my intro over there that I attended the 1989 show at the Universal Ampitheater in LA when Nez joined Micky, Davy, and Peter onstage, and some of you requested sharing my recollections. Although I've never had the pleasure of going to a monkee concert, I have beeen to a monkee Tribute concert, they were called the Missing links, they sounded great! although they mostly sang Micky and Davy songs, they diddn't really sing Mikes songs, but the person who....portryed(sp) Davy was so nice and funny, he said I knew more about the monkees than all four of the Missing links!

Last night was wonderful. Davy was at his best! I had not seen him as relaxed and happy like that in a long time. He even parted with his beloved cowboy hat that he has used in his concert for a couple of years. I was glad to see him back!

Got to see David last night here at ARTFEST in Addison, Texas, and it was an excellent show. The set list didn't seem to be as long as I hoped it would be, but I have no complaints if it was a slightly shortened show. The place was pretty well packed, as it usually is when I see his shows in this area. The stage seemed rather small and a lot of the equipment took up a large part of the stage.
