Just a test -- since of course when I edited my previous post, those little boxes disappeared and were replaced by the colons and words just as I described the problem in the second part of my post!

Has anyone else noticed that some of the emoticons don't seem to be working tonight? I hope this is temporary, but for example, when I tried to post a :wave (wave), it just showed up as a red x in a white box, and when I checked the emoticons list there seemed to be a few red xes taking the place of the regular emoticons. I even noticed that some :huggle s (huggles) that I had put into a previous post had disappeared and were replaced by a horizontal line in a rectangular box. :help...

Wow, those are all great, but we're getting close to 200 smilies already. However, your Yuku account has image hosting - you can upload the smilies you want, and then post them in replies. In the reply or new topic window, just click the button circled in red, and you can post an image you've already uploaded, or upload a new one and use it immediately.

I can use the cowboy, but to shrink the rest of them to emoticon size they would be unrecognizable. But if you have any more smilie-sized ones, that would be great!

I don't know if this is the right place for this, but is there any way to update icons? We could use some new ones, such as a better grin and praying hands. I'm not crazy about the way they appear, but I realize I will have to get used to it.
