I remember Lucy sending out email to all registered members a long long time ago, is that still possible? Maybe we could get a bunch of the old people together for a reunion chat or something? Does anyone ever talk to Missy or PinkyG anymore?

It is always great to see the Monkeeland members that were around at the start,and yes it is sad that they are not here the amount of time like they were before,but they should know that the door is always open here at Monkeeland and if someone doesn't feel comfortable being around now because of all the new faces,I would say to give the new faces a chance. In my opinion,the old and the new could mix very well.

Yes, I don't think the Yearbook will be updated too soon, but we are tackling the issue with the current Mland stuff and see what we can come up with. So I am very confident in saying that the Yearbook will get back on track!

Well, Petey, I can't deny I lurk regularly. Like Feef though, I just don't always necessarily feel 100% comfortable! ;-) The people I was most comfortable vanished. I still talk to Manda (LivinInDa60s - I actually have her cell number), Dani on occasion, and Laura (BebeLeStrange) on livejournal occasionally, and perhaps a few others here and there, but for the most part I've been pretty quiet. Can't seem to leave though - hard to believe, I actually joined the board nearly 7...

I hope all the oldbies show up again! I don't post nearly as often as I used to, but I can't leave this place. Monkeeland... my drug of choice.

Ray- I *love* Ace of Cakes! Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to come on here anymore. I also love the Food Network challenges where they'd do the huge 3 foot tall 'sculptures'...

Whether or not anyone is ready to update the yearbook right now, I think it's great that El started this thread and that so many of the classic Monkeeland "oldbies" have come out of hiding to respond -- even if only briefly! I'm sure that all of us relative newbies would love to see all of you posting more often if you have the inclination so that we can get to know you better, and I know that those Monkeelanders who remember you well would be thrilled to see more from all...

When you mention design work,Petey,I recall the great work you did on the many cakes you've made and I think of the show I like to watch called "Ace of Cakes" on the Food Network.

I would love to volunteer, but I don't have the time... and I'm sure that with doing full-time design work over the summer, the last thing I'll want to do in the evening is *more* design work! Hmmm.....

Ray, (and Fuz can correct me if I'm wrong) - it sounds to me what Fuz is saying is that she needs someone to either help her update it, or offer to take over the yearbook. I would love to see it updated, but I don't think it's going to happen right away.

Problem is that, while I check out the board regularly, I hardly post anymore and so don't really know any of you new lovely people, so I would have no idea what to tell about you in the blurbs and stuff. Angie has the camera and is going to upload some pictures from the prom as soon as she feels better. I had my DVD Camcorder and took movies. Chrissy's camera has not been working,so Angies camera is the main one. I saw some of the pictures and they do look pretty good (at the prom).

and it's hopelessly outdated! Which is brilliant because it's really neat to see how things have changed since then!
