I go by the handle Papanez45 and my name is Jim,but my friends just call me Pops. I&#39;m 63 years young and have been a Monkees (Nez in particlar) fan since
1966,when my wife and myself visited the set of their show. It was in August and they were filming &#39;Monkees A La Carte&#39;. We were there for the
restuarant scene.

I joined the army in 1967 and went to Vietnam for my tour of duty. I came home in 1970.

song)

I have seen him virtually live at VR3d several times but he is usually not performing but he interacts and chats with us there.

when they broke out of the Black Box and did it all themselves,like their final four albums and their HEAD film and 33&amp;1/3 Special,they failed to reach the

			<description><![CDATA[ Everyone points to &#39;Headquarters&#39; as the time the Monkees became a band. I think it was a bit earlier. I think it was the very first time the four
Monkees got up onstage infront of their fans and had to do it all themselves. That&#39;s when I think they realized that they could do things themselves.

Too darn bad they fractured after &#39;Headquarters&#39; and started using studio musicians again on their own recordings and put em together and said it was a
Monkees album.
