A few of us Monkeelanders have had the experience of getting together for shows, events, etc. So the question is, who have some of you met from here? I've met Molly and Steve 3 times! Wow! Once for "Pippin", twice for Micky's shows. Chris is fairly sure this makes me a groupie now, but I digress. When Cindi came out last October we met up with her in Santa Cruz to see JLS and John Batdorf. We also got to meet Tom (Elmer) and his wife for the most recent show. By phone I've spoken to Cindy Cinammon, Shane, LuAnne, Duc and Frodi Caper. And there are many, many more of you I'd like to meet in person someday!

She's very sweet like you see here in her many pix and her critters are cute, too - I met nearly all of them as well. I banned the telephone from my life and don't talk on it, J / K. I use my cell as an mp3 player and for email. Honestly, I don't like talking on the phone much, though. Over the years, other people here have been very kind with emails, cards, and gifts. It brings a smile to my face when I think about that.

I was at the first Meet & Greet which included.... Lucy (LucyCline) Laura (bebelestrange) Missy (monkeemaven) Lisa (1bigbeatlesfan) Chris (grand ennui) Kessy (kestramoon) Manda (sorry, username escapes me- Lucy's daughter!) Also, I met Lindsay (TeenageTorkFan, or new username which also escapes me... ) while I was living in Oakville. Of course, I know Danielle (ThatHippieKid), as I introduced her to this place! On the phone, other than the above, I've talked to Elaine (theory536) and LuAnne (dydrmblvr) as well! And... I think that's it! I hope to meet more of yous one day- Shane- I'm definitely talking Mike into a side trip to come meet you when I get town to Chicago and we drive back to the Soo! That is, of course, if it's okay with you- and if it isn't, I'll bribe you with cake! -

Let's see, who have I met from here in person? JMP was at the Davy show here in Oshkosh in '05, and I met Frodis Caper (very briefly) at the Micky and Coco Christmas show in Milwaukee last December. I've talked with Nora on the phone at work, (not conversationally, strictly business), and I've chatted with Lucy every now and again. MelissaLikesCoffee is her user name. She came to my workplace and dropped me off a beautiful card and present for my birthday. I wasn't at work yet, but she was so thoughtful. I have talked to her on the phone twice as well. She's a beautiful person and everyone should get to know her. HUGS to you Melissa. I also do talk to Laura (Mickys411), Li Sung, and Lisa (1bigbeatlesfan) online fairly regular or via email. Not to mention I have been talking back and forth to people through my comments section on my ML profile that has been redone a while ago. I have also talked with Beth (adjfan) on a different message board I am part of as well, and I recommended ML to her as well. Danzin01 is also here from another message board as well that I know. I have spoken over the phone with Jen, Shannon, and Gail from Wyoming. In person I have met Jen, Shannon, Miki, Rachael, Gail (half of the Gails) and Pam. And I have talked with a lot of others in the chat room and IM. I really appreciated the Christmas cards from several, also. (My birthday is next Sunday - HINT. I love cards. Snail mail is best because I have them to look at first hand, but I like Ecards, too.) Sally B.

I hope we are able to get together again soon. Maybe meet up at Dragon Con and at Davy's upcoming show in Cedartown. hint, hint. I really like Marnie-she's a very down to earth person just as her posts suggest. Let's see...I've spoken to Nora once on the phone. Snail mailed Lucy, Shane, Ray and Marnie. Everybody here at Monkeeland are wonderful people. Oh and I alot of fun at Christmas sending Lisa her Christmas gift. I'm sure there are more, but I can't think straight right now.

You can also tell who's chatting right on the forum index, too. I admit that I haven't really tried out the new chat since we moved to Yuku. No particular reason why, I guess.
