Okay, here's the start of Chapter One: Work computer is having issues again.
Chapter One: When You Find The One Youre Dreaming Of Seventeen year old Victoria Shipman stood out in the cool morning air waiting for her co-workers to arrive at the hamburger stand. It had been almost two weeks since she saw her best friend, Nora and she was anxious to catch up with her. In fact, most all her friends had gone on their family vacations after the girls returned home from Cheerleading Camp. She was a little giddy thinking about seeing some of them today. Victoria, Tori to her friends, looked at her watch and shivered. She decided to go ahead and unlock the stand and get the day started. As she wiped down the counters, she looked at the picture the stands owner had hung up. It was of the girls taken the last day of Cheerleading Camp, they were in their uniforms in a pyramid holding the coveted Spirit Stick; new squad captain Cinda Cline was at the top of the pyramid. Everybody had said that Tori should have been captain this year, but they gave it to Cinda since her father practically paid for anything the cheerleaders wanted. Tori smiled and rolled her eyes, it wasnt the first time she had lost to Cinda and it most likely wasnt the last. Youre starting early! a familiar female voice interrupted Tori from her thoughts. She looked up to see Nora coming across the dewy grass towards her. Nora! She squealed and headed out to meet her best friend. Nora broke into a jog, springing into a cartwheel and a front handspring as she approached. Tori answered with a round-off and a double front handspring. They met and hugged. Show off Nora giggled. Ive been practicing. Tori said coyly. Okay Smarty-pants, lets see what you can do. Nora smiled. Uh-oh. Tori groaned. Nora: Front handspring step out, round-off back handspring step-out, round-off back handspring, full-twisting layout. Ugh Tori groaned again, Its too early. Maybe later. Chicken! Nora giggled as she twisted her fingers in her red ponytail. Tori rolled her eyes and put her arm around Nora, they walked to the hamburger stand. Good ole Burger Heaven, Nora sighed, Hasnt changed a bit. Yes it has! Tori teased her, Youre back! Burger Heaven was nothing more than a small shack that sat in a shady park area not far from the beach. A large hatch raised up to reveal a counter and there were tables and chairs for the customers to eat their meals all around the front of the stand. Inside was the grill, the fryer and a large freezer that housed the food and 15 different flavors of ice cream. Handmade waffle cones were a specialty of the stand as well as the world famous hamburgers, made with a secret ingredient that all the employees were sworn to protect. The two girls got to work to get the stand ready for business. As they were working, Nora noticed the picture on the wall. Where did Chuck get this? she asked. My guess from Cindas father. Tori answered. Both girls giggled. Cinda Cline was your typical rich California girl. Tall, long blonde hair blue eyes, she was one of the most popular girls at Grant High School. Her father, Martin Cline was a self-made millionaire. A talent agent whose clients included some of the top names in Hollywood. Even though the girls were all on the Varsity squad there were still cliques that kept them from becoming close outside of school. Cinda, along with Darcy Peters, Katie Elder, Susie Skillman, Erin Burger & Kathy Myers made up the Rich Clique. They spent their summer days shopping and playing on the beach. Nora, Hayley Mills, Ellen Farnsby and Tori were in the Working Class Clique. Most of their days were spent working the hamburger stand and catering to the Rich Clique and their entourage. Tori didnt really mind. She was happy with the way things were. Once the girls came together in cheerleader mode, they became a unit that worked together forgetting about the cliques and regarding each other on almost the same level. Cinda always kept herself a step above the other girls, quickly reminding them who always sponsored them when they needed money: D-a-d-d-y. Even though Cinda was his princess, Mr. Cline always treated the other girls fairly and never looked down on any of them. Hey! Nora teased, bumping into Tori almost knocking her down, Are you going to stand around all day? Tori, shaken out of her daydream didnt miss a beat, Ive got two weeks of work on you, and Im waiting for you to catch up! Both girls dissolved into the giggles knowing it was going to be an interesting day. Down the beach in a modest two story apartment on Beechwood Drive, The Monkees were slowly starting their day. Twenty-two year old Mike Nesmith was already up, dressed and making breakfast before anyone else had crawled out of bed. He smiled to himself as Peter Tork, 22 and Davy Jones, 20 came stumbling bleary-eyed from their bedroom still in their pajamas and plopped down at the kitchen table. Moments later, Micky Dolenz, 21 came slowly down the hurricane stairs from the bedroom he shared with Mike. He too quietly sat down at the table. Mike sat a steaming plate of Southwest Scrambled Eggs down in the center of the table, Dig in, fellas. He sat milk and orange juice on the table before he sat down himself. I cant move my arms. Micky groaned. I cant move your arms either. Peter groaned. Mike chuckled, the guys had worked pretty much nonstop for the past two weeks. Rehearsing for hours during the day then playing 1 or 2 shows a night at a new club on the strip, they were all exhausted. Davy, the groups self-proclaimed heartthrob, was beginning to complain that he was losing his edge. Itd been over a week since hed had a date and it was cramping his style. Today was the first of two days they had off. Mike had planned on an informal rehearsal to basically jam together and maybe rearrange some of the music theyd been playing. Seeing how wiped out everybody was and he, himself beginning to feel a little burned out he decided to cancel rehearsal and let the guys enjoy some time off. When they had finished eating and Mike was clearing the table he decided to tell the guys his decision. I was thinking. He began; he was instantly bombarded with complaints and groans from the other three. What now? Davy groaned. Can you cut us some slack? Micky complained. Geez, how about a break? Peter remarked. Never mind. He said quietly a little hurt by their responses. He finished clearing the table and handed the dishtowel to Peter, Your turn. He muttered as he headed upstairs. Mike sat down on the side of his bed and rubbed his eyes. Did the guys think he was pushing them too hard? he wondered. He had made it clear from the beginning that he was all about the band and the music. They were finally starting to get steady work and money was beginning to come in. The guys seemed happy; could he be wrong about them seeming to be as excited as he was in the newfound success they were having? Were they starting to resent him? Mike sat there for a few more minutes, he usually wasnt this sensitive to these kind of thoughts, and maybe it was fatigue because it was really bothering him now. Getting up, he went back downstairs, Micky, Davy and Peter were still sitting around the kitchen table, grabbing his jacket he left without a word. Mike walked down the back steps and out onto the beach. The sun was up and just starting to warm the ocean breeze, Mike continued walking hoping the cool air would clear his head of the thoughts he was having. Back at the pad, Davy helped Peter with the morning dishes while Micky cleaned up and changed into his clothes. He came downstairs; climbing behind his drums he rested his head on one of his tom-toms. Davy and Peter both changed clothes and came out to the bandstand. They waited for Mike, as far as they knew he was still upstairs. Davy was growing impatient, Comon Mike he shouted upstairs. Micky raised his head; he didnt remember seeing Mike when he went into the bedroom to change his clothes. He got up and trotted up the stairs, he checked the bedroom and the bathroom. No Mike. Hes not up here. Micky said over the railing. Davy and Peter looked at each other. Peter did a quick search downstairs. Davy checked around outside, the Monkeemobile was in the garage. He walked in the pad and exchanged looks with Micky and Peter. Hes Gone! they cried. At Burger Heaven Tori and Nora were bored. The cool start to the morning had kept business away and they were finding odd jobs to do to pass the time. After running out of things to do, they sampled ice cream and talked. Tori was leaning against the counter with her back to the customer area and Nora was facing her. They had been practicing some cheers and being a little goofy when Tori noticed Nora went quiet and her face was turning red. From the look on Noras face, Tori was afraid to turn around for fear of being face to face with Bigfoot. She turned around slowly and found herself staring up into the most gorgeous brown eyes shed ever seen. Definitely not Bigfoot, but he was tall and very handsome. Here's more: Tori was mesmerized by the brown eyes looking down at her. It almost felt like time had been frozen, that is until she felt the sharp stab of a fork in the small of her back jolting her back to reality. May I love y..err.help you? She stammered, feeling her face grow warm. Behind her, Nora snorted and tried to suppress her giggles. The handsome young man tried to hide his smile; he was intrigued by the young woman. Ill have a medium Coke, please. Mike spoke. Is that all youd like? Tori was regaining her composure. Yeahfor now. he answered. Tori turned around to the Coke machine, glaring at Nora. Nora bit her lower lip to keep from bursting out in laughter. Tori turned around and handed the Coke to Mike. On the house. She said softly as she lowered her eyes. Mike had a dollar bill in his hand, he extended it to her, you sure? Tori looked up and met his eyes again, Yes. She said. Well thank ya darlin. Mike replied pouring on his Texan accent, he winked at her. Tori felt her knees go weak. Thank you and come back again. She said a little bit breathless. You bet. He replied as he turned and walked away. Tori watched him go, to her surprise he settled at one of the tables and pulled out a small pad of paper and a pen. The look on Toris face when she turned to Nora was priceless. Nora knew instantly that her best friend was seriously crushing on the man in the green knit hat. I wonder who he is. Tori whispered. Why dont you go find out? Nora half teased her, she had never seen Tori react to a boy like this before. Not even Troy Evans, the heartthrob captain of the football team. Tori looked at Nora wide-eyed, Oh, I couldnt Why notyouve already told him you loved him. Nora smiled slyly. Hush up! Tori teased, blush returning to her cheeks. She quickly picked up a damp towel and started wiping down the counter for the third time. Nora just shook her head. Through out the lunch crowd, Tori would periodically steal a glance towards the handsome stranger. Shed feel both embarrassed and giddy when she would find him watching her. Both she and Nora noticed he wrote a lot on the pad of paper. Nora mentioned it was kind of creepy but Tori dismissed her thought, Hes just too cute to be a serial killer. she explained. They both giggled over that. What seems to be so funny? a female voice interrupted them. They both turned to find Cinda Cline standing at the counter in a white lace bikini. Hi Cinda! Nora managed brightly. Hey Cinda! Tori echoed, What brings you to our neck of the woods? Darcy Peters and Katie Elder walked up in their expensive bikinis. Oh, we were hungry and thought wed stop by and say Hi. Cinda said, a little too sweetly. She casually looked around, spotting Mike, Ohh, whos thaaat? Hes married. Tori answered quickly. Nora gave her a side glance. Hmm, too bad. Cinda snided, Its been kinda boring around here recently. She leaned against the counter and smiled seductively in Mikes direction. Toris stomach felt like it dropped to her feet. She couldnt see if there was any reaction from the object of her crush, but she wanted to strangle Cinda. The girls finally ordered and were on their way back to the beach. Tori was a little relieved to see that Mike didnt even look in their direction as they left. Nora looked at her Hes married?? she echoed to Tori. Well, Tori was feeling sick to her stomach again, I didnt want to lose him to Cinda before I knew if I even had a chance with him and I definitely dont want him to be another notch in Cindas lipstick case. Tori looked like she could cry, Nora smiled sympathetically; both she and Tori knew what it was like to lose a boyfriend to Cinda, it wasnt an easy thing to deal with and it hurt a lot worse when Cinda would flaunt it in your face. Dont worry about it, okay? Nora smiled, If its meant to be, it will be and he definitely didnt seem interested in the Golden Goddess. She gave Tori a quick hug. Tori smiled at Noras nickname for Cinda, of course it was meant to be a slam towards the uppity girl, but they both knew Cinda would have loved it. Tori turned her attention to cleaning the grill while Nora refilled the condiments. Tor, hes coming. Nora whispered quickly. She busied herself near the freezer to force Tori to wait on him. Tori looked up and smiled, Hey, need a refill? Yeah, he answered. She took his cup and put ice in it, she turned back to him, Do you want something to eat? she asked and then filled the cup with Coke. She turned back to him, setting the Coke on the counter. She tilted her head and smiled at him waiting for his answer. Thanks, Im fine. He shook his head. Tori couldnt help but notice there seemed to be sadness about him even though he smiled at her. What do I owe? he started to ask, Tori waved him off shaking her head no. He reached towards her and touched her cheek, Thanks. he whispered then turned and went back to the table he was sitting at. Tori sighed as she turned around to face Nora. She started to speak but was interrupted when Hayley and Ellen came in. Calvarys here! Ellen said cheerfully. Hooray! Were saved! Nora answered playfully. The girls exchanged hugs and giggled as Nora and Tori showed the cheerleading picture to Ellen and Hayley. Nora and Tori gathered their purses to get ready to leave; Tori took money out of her purse and held it up for Nora to see as she put it in the cash register. Nora smiled and rolled her eyes. What was that for? Hayley asked. Nora giggled, See that guy over there? Hayley & Ellen: Yeah. Nora: Toris sweet on him, shes been giving him free Cokes. Only two and one was a refill. Tori teasingly defended herself. She stuck her tongue out at Nora who returned the gesture. Come on, Nora giggled, Lets get out of here. See ya guys tomorrow! Bye! Bye! As Nora and Tori started to leave, Tori looked back over where Mike was sitting. He wasnt writing on his notepad anymore. He had both his hands resting on the table surrounding his Coke cup; he was just sort of staring at the cup. Why dont you go talk to him? Nora whispered. What would I say? Tori whispered back. Whatevers right. Nora replied, He looks like he could use a friend. Tori turned and hesitated. Go on, get the sordid details about this mystery man then call me with a full report. Nora was standing behind Tori with her hands on her shoulders; she gave her a gentle push. Tori looked back at her friend, What if he doesnt like me? Nora: Dont be stupid, I saw how he looked at you. Now go! Nora turned and started for her car, Call me later, okay? Tori: Okay. Tori took a couple of deep breaths, shed never done anything like this before and wasnt quite sure what to say. She didnt even know his name! She walked over to his table; he looked up at her and smiled. I Im getting ready to leave. I thought Id see if you needed anything before I go. Tori said softly. Thats sweet of you. Thanks, but Im okay. He answered her. Okay, well take care. Tori smiled she turned to leave. Mike: Wait. Tori turned back. I dont even know your name. he said. Victoria..Tori. Im Michaelor Mike. Tori: Pleased to meet you, Michael Likewise. He said. Tori: See ya around sometime? Mike shyly shook his head yes. Tori turned to leave again. Tori? She turned around again; Mike looked down at his hands. Uh, if youre not busy could you stay awhile and maybe talk? he asked quietly. Toris heart was doing gymnastics in her chest. She sat down across from him. They sat quietly for a little while. Every once in a while their eyes would meet then theyd look away. Finally Tori spoke first: Whats wrong, Mike? She reached out and touched his hand. Her quiet question and simple gesture was enough to open the gates to Mikes heart. He told her about what happened before he left the pad this morning, that normally things like this didnt bother him, but for some reason today it hurt. Tori listened and just let him talk; it was clear he needed a shoulder to lean on and she was willing to provide that shoulder for him. They talked for a couple of hours about the band and music, families, cheerleading, cars just about everything they could think of. They walked along the beach, at one point Mike took Toris hand and they held hands as they walked. It was starting to get dark, they sat on the beach and watched the sun go down. The temperature was beginning to drop.Mike slipped his jacket around Toris shoulders and then put his arm around her. What time is it? Tori asked as she snuggled closer to him, feeling his warmth. Its close to 10:30. Mike said trying to see his watch in the dark. We should get back. Your friends are probably wondering where you are. Tori said reluctantly. Probably not, theyre probably glad Im not there. Mike mused darkly. Please dont talk like that. Tori said quietly, reaching her arms up around his shoulders, she tried to hold him. Coming up next: Mike meets Toris Parents. "What's the matter Officer, Dunkin Donuts CLOSED??" |

Okay, Okay I hear ya!! As promised, here's some more. I hope to add even more as the weekend progresses!
Tori and Mike sat quietly and watched the waves come in for a little while longer. She was embarrassed and a little ashamed to tell him she had a curfew so she kept her mouth shut. In the dim light coming from the boardwalk she could make out his features, she wanted to memorize the way he looked and the sound of his voice. "What are you thinking about?" he whispered breaking her concentration. "Just daydreaming, I guess." she answered feeling her face getting warmer. He brushed some wayward strands of hair from her face, "I should let you go, I'll bet you're exhausted. You should get home." he said. Tori's heart sunk, she didn't want the night to end. "Do we have too?" she teasingly whined. "Yes, it's after midnight and you have to work in the morning, don't you?" he countered as he got to his feet. He helped Tori to her feet and they walked back towards the burger stand. Mike walked Tori to her car in the lot behind the burger stand. Tori handed him his jacket, tossing her purse through the open window she leaned against her car door, "Can I drive you home?" she asked. "Nah, I live just down the beach. It's not far." he replied. "Oh, afraid to ride with me?" she mused remembering his reaction to her saying she would love to race cars. Mike smiled and moved closer to her, brushing the same strands of hair from her face. Looking a little more serious, he cupped his hands on her cheeks and kissed her on the forehead. "Thanks for being here today." he whispered, "It was nice to have somebody to talk to.......I just hope I didn't bore you to death." Tori rested her hands just above his hips. She looked down concentrating on the buttons on his shirt and avoiding his eyes, "You're really easy to talk to." Mike moved his hands down to rest on her shoulders, Tori raised her eyes to look at him. "Just don't tell anybody, you'll ruin my reputation." he smiled impishly. "Our secret." she whispered. Mike looked deeply into her eyes, the intenseness of his stare made her entire body feel weak. "I really enjoyed being with you today. Would you want to go out sometime?" he asked. "I'd love too." she replied, maybe a tad too quickly. Mike smiled at her and moved her sideways; reaching past her he opened her car door for her. Reluctantly she slipped behind the wheel. "Are you sure I can't drive you home?" she asked hoping for just a few more minutes with him. He shook his head, "Nah, I'm fine." he said as he closed her door. Putting his hand on the door frame he leaned down to the open window, "You be careful, ya hear?" "I will, you too, okay?" she answered. She started the car, a beat up 1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Hearing the firm rumble of the engine, Mike stood back and looked the car up and down, "455?" he asked. "Yep....it's the only valuable thing in the car, but she gets me where I'm going." Tori mused. Mike teasingly shook his finger at her, "No speeding tickets, I mean it!" Tori rolled her eyes, "Goodnight Michael." "Goodnight Victoria." He watched her as she pulled away then turned to head home. Tori drove slowly down the street and watched in her rearview mirror until Mike disappeared into the darkness. She sighed, like finding a lost puppy she wished she could keep him. She had always been somewhat of a tomboy and had a lot of 'boy' friends, never being interested enough in any of them for anything else. She'd only had one 'real' boyfriend she thought she was 'in love' with and it hurt like you know what when she lost him to Cinda. But Michael was different; he made her feel....well...weird, like she wanted to crawl inside his skin and become part of him. She had butterflies in her stomach from the first moment she saw him and they didn't seem in any hurry to go away. Could this be what real 'love' feels like? Mike walked down the beach towards the pad. He thought about Victoria and how being with her had made him feel. She had really listened to him today, she was compassionate without being condescending; she made him see things in a different way. His music, the band making it and the guys were the most important things in his life, but in just a few hours she made him feel like 'he' was important too. Nobody had ever taken the time to do that before, to make him realize that it's okay for him to take time for himself. Davy, Micky and Peter could juggle the band's schedule and have a life outside the band; would it really be possible that he could too? The pad was dark when Mike returned home. He crept quietly through the living room to the hurricane stairs, taking his boots off before ascending not wanting to make noise and risk scaring the living daylights out of Peter and Davy. Upstairs, the bedroom he shared with Micky was quiet.....a little too quiet. He crept over to his bed, sitting down he reached for his pajamas. "Just where have you been?" Micky sounded angry as he turned on the lamp on the nightstand causing Mike to jump. "Don't do that, Mick! You scared me." Mike's hiss was more of a scared whisper, "Why aren't you asleep?" "Well for one thing," Micky hissed as he sat up, "I was worried sick about you. It's not like you to just up and go. We didn't know where you were or when you were coming back. We sat around all day waiting on 'you'!" It usually took a lot for Micky to get angry, but once he was - there was no reasoning with him. Knowing this, Mike grabbed his pillow and blanket and stomped to the bedroom door. "Welcome to MY life, Micky!" he hissed as he slammed the door behind him. Micky blinked and stared at the door for a moment, Mike's words were echoing in his head. He hadn't meant to upset him; he was more scared than mad at Mike. The slamming bedroom door woke both Davy and Peter. "Whut was that!?" Davy spat out. "I-I don't know," Peter answered clutching his Teddy Bear. They both calmed down a little when they heard the familiar stomping on the stairs. "Mike." they said at the same time. The two of them got up and carefully opened their bedroom door; they crept around the stairs and saw Mike making a bed on the couch. "Michael?" Peter said in a hushed tone. Mike turned around; seeing Davy and Peter huddled there in the dim light from their bedroom he drew a deep breath. "Just go back to bed." he said, fatigue evident in his voice. Davy turned to go back to bed, something had obviously happened between Mike and Micky; he wasn't sure he wanted to know about it right now. Peter stood still staring at Mike. "Are you okay?" Peter asked. "I'm fine Pete, go to bed." Mike's answer was short but not angry. Davy grabbed Peter by the back of his pajamas, "Come on Petah. He'll be all right." Peter reluctantly followed Davy back into the bedroom closing the door behind him. Micky heard the exchange from the landing upstairs. He looked over the railing and watched as Mike tried to get comfortable on the couch. He crept down the stairs and over to the couch, kneeling down beside it. "Mike?" he said softly. "What?" Mike answered. "I'm sorry.....I..I didn't mean to attack you like that." Micky whispered, "I was scared, you didn't come back. I didn't know what to think." Mike stayed quiet and didn't move trying to decide if he wanted to let Micky off the hook or make him squirm a little. Mike knew Micky couldn't stand for anyone to be angry with him, especially Mike. He really wasn't angry with Micky, if anything he was more upset with himself. "Please....come back upstairs." Micky pleaded. ***** Tori arrived home with 10 minutes to spare. Her mother was in the kitchen. "Hi Mom!" Tori said cheerily. "Hi Honey, where've you been all evening?" Joyce Shipman smiled, she saw the look on her daughter's face knowing full well there was a boy involved. Tori poured a glass of juice and sat down at the kitchen table, she gave her mother her famous innocent look. Joyce rolled her eyes, "Who is he? she asked with a mock tone of "here we go again", "Captain of the Track Team? President of the Chess Club?" Tori rolled her eyes and giggled. "Actually, he's not in high school." Tori remarked, a dreamy look in her eyes as she thought about Michael. "College?" Joyce raised an eyebrow. "No, he's a musician." Tori sighed, "Oh Mom, he's so handsome." Joyce had a motherly look of apprehension, "Victoria, you know how your father feels about showbiz types." "I know Mom, but Michael's different." Tori responded, "He's really sweet and quiet, almost shy. He's from Texas and he has the sweetest southern twang sometimes when he talks." "What do his parents do?" Joyce asked. Tori thought for a moment, "I don't know, I didn't ask. He really only mentioned his Aunt and she's back in Texas." Joyce: "Where does he live?" "He shares a beach house with his three bandmates." Tori was thoughtfully twisting a lock of hair around her finger. Tori's mother looked surprised, "Just how OLD is this boy?" Tori stopped playing with her hair, "I don't know, he can't be that much older than me." She thought about his boyish smile. "Really Mother, 18 is an adult you know." Sensing she had upset her, Joyce reached for her daughter and stroked her cheek. She paused for a moment, "So.....when do we get to meet wonderboy?" Again Tori rolled her eyes, "I just met him today. Let me get to know him first before I bring him home for you and daddy to scare him to death." she giggled. "Ha Ha," Joyce teased Tori, "Now off to bed, 5:00 will be here before you know it." "Ewww yeah," Tori wrinkled her nose, "And I have practice after work." She finished her juice and rinsed her glass before heading off to her room. "Night Mom." she called as she bounded down the hall. Tori got ready for bed, she hugged her favorite Teddy Bear and wondered what Michael was doing. ****** "Miiike." Micky pleaded again. Mike answered his best friend with lightning fast reflexes, landing his pillow upside Micky's head. "Go to bed, Buddy. I'll be up in a few." Mike said softly as Micky picked himself up off the floor. "Ok, Babe." Micky answered clutching Mike's pillow. Micky made it a point to bean Mike with the pillow before racing up the stairs. Mike shook his head, he was too tired to deal with Micky right now. He got up and got a glass of water. Looking out the window and seeing his reflection in the glass, he thought about Victoria. He really wanted....no, he really needed to see her again. The next morning Mike was up and dressed before sunrise. He left a note on the kitchen table, picked up his acoustic guitar and headed the Monkeemobile towards Big Sir. Armed with the image of the pretty Strawberry-Blonde with the amazing Blue/Green eyes, he had several ideas for songs and wanted to get them on paper before someone or something distracted him. More later........ "These things I think are new I guess they're really old. It seems that I've done 'em all before. Now to go back to that fork in the road takes all the strength of my soul and more" - Michael Nesmith "Well the devil incarnate runnin' music supervision put me into a state of cataleptic euphemism.......Somebody's preachin' 'bout the wonder world of Communism....Me and I don't understand at all......." - Michael Nesmith |

Dear Luanne,
I want you to know that this is an awesome story! I just read it and I think it is very, very good. I am so glad that you are writing again, especially since our last talk in ML chat when you said you hadn't been writing. What a great story! Thank you for blessing us with your talents! I got your name right today, too. LOL! Anyway, thank you so much for this story. I really enjoyed it. Love always, Cheri |
