HI Everyone,

I have a question, I am a part of another EZ Board forum and we are all being moved to Yuku. I am wondering if ALL the EZ groups are being forced to move elsewhere and EZ Board is going to close?

Just curious because talk is it could be closing in the future.

If someone has any idea, I would greatly appreciate it if you could please tell me what is going on, as I am lost. Thanks!

Hi Cheri,

When it was discussed among the admins/mods a few months ago, we decided to stay with EZboard, if I recall that right. I'm sure if anything changes, there will be more than one big announcement to let everyone know!

If we move to Yuku it may be Sayonara from me. I hate it! I have it stuck on my info dealie and I can't get anywhere in it, I have tried to get it off and there is NO WAY!

Nora's right on the money. We discussed the option, but hadn't heard enough in positive support of it to make any move in that regard. We seem to like the way things are set up as-is, and your opinions seem to back that up.

I'm in the process of changing my board MonkeeFun over to Yuku - one thing I've noticed is that Yuku is really really slow at times. So I would say unless ezboard forces us to move to Yuku, we're staying right where we are.

Since I hadn't (still haven't) heard anything good about Yuku, I hope we have the option of staying here. If we're forced to move, then Lizzy can handle making the announcement and the actual move since she's become somewhat of an Ezboard expert (at least to me).

Lizzy,

I looked at your group being moved over to Yuku. I think the colors that Yuku offers are more darkish in nature. I really like lighter colors that are easier on the eyes. But your group looks very nice.

The colors on MonkeeFun are the original colors I chose on ezboard. When Monkeeland migrates over, it will keep all it's colors, backgrounds, and images also.

I'm going to be working on making the transition smooth - there will probably be a few differences that we all have to get used to, and I know change isn't fun, but I think we'll make it.
