I dunno, in my opinion, Davy could do so much better than being on those type of shows, because most of the celebrities that are featured are not even A-Listers and were given the opportunity to do those shows because they were out of work and needed to hang onto exposure. Davy is well above and beyond that type of material, in my opinion. But I would support him if ever did do it. I'm not sure if I would watch the shows themselves, out of embarrassment for all those celebrities that get harshly ridiculed by the judges.

well, what I was actually saying was that he would be fun to watch on "Dancing with the Stars", since he has so much energy and enthusiasm. I'm sure he is way too busy to be on a show like that, though.
I would probably watch him sitting on a bar stool reading exerpts from the telephone book if they televised it... |

Yeah, I agree.
I don't think Sara Evans needs too much publicity. And WillaFord could do without ANY publicity... I'm not a fan of Wilted. I love lazy Saturdays in July!

And Davy and Toni Basil were AWESOME dancing together in "Head". That's probably my favorite part.

I dont know about him on Dancing with the Stars. They do a LOT of work and some very fast tedious moves. Ya know? he is getting older and all....

Have you seen David on stage? He moves better than any 60 year old I know. Digital Cameras can't keep up with him!! I know 'cause I've tried taking pictures!!

Cali, I agree with you. He does great moves on stage, but he does them at his own pace and rests when he has to. After some, like Consider Yourself, he does get out of breath. It's not that he can't keep up, it's that he can't act like he is 21 anymore, because he is not. He needs to take care of himself so we can enjoy many more years of his entertaining.

I haven't watched that program this year, I did last year. And the dancing is very strenuous. I neither know nor care anything about the ones that ARE on it, I care only about David. When he does anything he goes all out and I'm not saying he isn't up to it, but from what some have been saying about him lately he may need to be taking care of himself. He is so dear, and so precious and he is already pushing himself. I love watching him dance, but his dancing is more broadway dancing. Of course he COULD do it, but the question is, SHOULD he. To me the epitome of dancing was "Daddy's Song" in Head. That was David at his very best.

uhhhh, kaaaaaaayyyy..
this started with the hypothetical statement that he would be fun to watch if he was on the show, that's all, no biggie. as far as i know, he's not on the roster for next season. i don't think anyone here wants him to dance himself into the hospital for the sake of ABC's ratings; i definitely don't. maybe i should have said he would be fun to watch in a guest spot on ER as a visiting British gynecologist...
