Posts: 379 (06/04/08 10:58 AM) Ken Konnect Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	I was watching "The N" earlier today (not much earlier though since I got up at 7 and it's only 8:54) and I saw preview for some movie called "Polar Bears" which apparently stars some band called "The Naked Brothers Band". When they showed the title, I thought the way they had the name looked an awful lot like the Monkees logo. I came online and did a search for the movie and found a link with what I thought was the best picture. http://www.nick.com/ads/nakedbrothers/dvd/ Am I crazy or does that logo look an awful lot like the Monkees logo?

The lead boiys are real-life siblings. It was a movie first, directed by their mother. They are on nickelodeon with their own tv show, the lead guy writes their songs and he is only 13 or 12.

The Monkee logo was made of the letters, this is just the band's name on the guitar, or am I missing something? When push comes to shove Ricky Nelson had his name in big letters on his guitar long before the Monkees. Sally B.

My 10-year-old daughter's "on-again off-again" friend (nearly always "off"--the girl is a really rude brat) made fun of her for liking a band and TV show from the 60s. Sounds like it might have been inspired by the Monkees. If the Monkees had done more seasons, who knows what other themes might have come up on the show.
