Does anyone here like Cyndi? She is one of my favorites. I've been listening to her since I was a child, and I'm rarely ever disappointed with her
work. Her new album is coming out at the end of May. It sounds like it is going to be very good. You can sample some of it here:

Sure, I like her stuff. The 80's wouldn't have been the 80's without her. I can't honestly say that I've kept up too well with her current career, though. I did hear that she was starring on Broadway a while back... Shane

I love Cyndi's music. I haven't kept up with her recent stuff, but I loved her "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" song and "She Bop."
She wore some of the neatest outfits as well.

She came onto the scene right behind Madonna, that's how I remember it.....both a little eccentric in dress, both setting fads in their style. And
didn't Cyndi get involved in wrestling stuff???? She had some good tunes I agree, how come she didn't stay on top? Was She's So Unusual the only
album she put out?

I don't know why Cyndi faded from the scene. She had many good songs, and her voice has gotten better over the years. I have just about everything
she's ever recorded, even from before She's So Unusual came out, and I like almost everything from all stages of her career. Like with the Monkees.

Anyways, I always liked Cyndi Lauper more, but it seems like her big time pop career fizzled out by the late 80s. Too bad, she seemed like a lot of fun and I enjoyed her style and her personally those that of Madonna.

Yep, Captain Lou Albano! He played Cyndi's dad in GJWTHF and She Bop. My mom met him many, many years ago before he became popular in the 80s. I wish
wrestling characters were as fun now as they were then.

I always liked Cindi Lauper. After the 80s,I lost track of her career,though. Being a wrestling fan,I was delighted by her connection to wrestling through Lou
Albano and Wendi Richter. Wendi even guested in the video "She Bop" by Cindi.

Cyndi's new album is great. It's dance music, but not the typical mindless kind with the same beats and everything. It has a lot of melodies and hooks. It also has a lot more oomph/energy than her last two albums. I keep repeating the songs "Into the Nightlife" and "Echo". They are very cool and the choruses are super catchy. Angela
