Actually, I would be happy with odds & ends of the *blue* vinyl. I am planning to use them as wall art in my "home office" when I get things situated. I have a full set of the *yellow* and a set and a half of the *pink.* Does anyone remember if they came in any other colors? I've seen a couple of *red* vinyls - but the labels are different. There is currently a set on ebay, but the guy wants $175 and he doesn't know what color they are. If anyone has any of the color vinyl 45's (except for Pink - I'm Pinked out) that they'd like to part with, please PM me. P.S. I have 11 crates plus 2 large boxes of Beanie Babies that need new homes......................HELP! I need to "evict" them in order to finish my office!!! Thanks, LuAnne Is there such a thing????

Good luck on your quest, LuAnne! Are you doing your office in a music theme? If so, I might have something to send you for your birthday or Christmas! I have no coloured vinyl, but I have a little something that (once it's finished) will be just screaming to be put in a music room. (not literally! ) -

I was just visiting ebay, he's dropped them down to $149 and STILL doesn't know what color they are!! lol That did sound kinda funny didn't it? I did get an answer to one of my questions - I missed it the first time, but someone has listed a RED set - it's got 2 days left on it. We'll see how high it goes........ Yes, the office will have a music theme - mostly a Monkees & Papa Nez theme with records and photographs. I do have a couple of show bills from Styx concerts and a few odds and ends from others like Sammy Hagar & Chicago to name a few. Will be a little on the eclectic side. (Most likely it will look like a booth at a flea market!) One of my "crown jewels" will be a small shadow box with a guitar shaped Beatles pin that I got from Pamela Des Barres - she bought it new around 1966. She is such a cool lady!! will be just screaming to be put in a music room. (not literally! ) Well, I hope not - you might get kicked out of your apartment!! Now you have my interest peaked!!! You said it, Brother. It's taken a lifetime and about two years to amass everything I have now. But I think it'll look neat if it works out the way I'm hoping. Like I said, it will probably turn out looking like a booth at a flea market. I didn't win the red set of 45's on eBay. It's just as well I guess - I'm low on funding and shouldn't be spending on extravagance at this time. Also, I was taking stock in what I do want to put on the walls: I have 42 color vinyl 45's, approximately 25 regular 45's, 19 lps - most of them framed - 21 if you count the two "picture" lps, 2 CD's, 22 framed photographs and 3 posters (this is just the Monkees/Nez stuff). (For those of you keeping score - the wonderful drawings I have received of Nez from Petey, Jen and Mr. McColm as well as my "Frank Morton" collection will be featured in the common and living areas and not included in the office.) I also have a 24"X24" Lithograph of the Headquarters cover and the 40th Anniversary Lithograph signed by Micky that was on the HSN - that I need to figure out what to do with. My office is only a 9X9 room - would people think I was nuts if I moved the "master bedroom" to the 9X9 room and made the 16X22 room into my office? Hey, I would have an "Executive Washroom".....how many people can say that of their home offices? I really need to ditch the Beanie Babies! And probably about 200 Breyer horses...... One thing I can say in all honesty - my house is not English Colonial, Early American or even Retro - it's more like Mid 70's American Disaster! Oh, I almost forgot - I'm on the hunt for the 1968 Frank Morton drawings - he redid Micky and Davy with their new hair styles............Arrrgh! I need therapy!!!! Smashing, Simply Smashing! But every once and a while you will get something without someone bidding against you.
