I thought it was funny but I didn't get into it a great deal until the early 90s. I got into 60s music more at that time, and I asked for & received the Monkees Greatest Hits tape in my Easter basket in 1992. I was very happy. I've been listening to them since and I'm continuing to build up my Monkees CD collection.

It's always good to see new people here, but I do marvel sometimes how these things tend to happen in waves. We'll go a long time without any new members and then all of a sudden we'll get a lot of requests. I do enjoy bringing new members on board, though--it kind of reinvigorates the boards, doncha think?
