Here's what I got...

Micky was on cloud 9 as he got to the pad, all he could think about was Tibby.
Her eyes, her smile and her wonderful personality.
"Hey, you're in a good mood," said Davy, as he saw his friend walk through the door.
"Man, you look just like Davy when he meets a girl,"Peter said with a laugh.
"You did meet a girl did you?"Mike asked.
"Yep, her name is Tibby, said Micky, And I'm meeting her toight.
Micky then headed upstairs to get ready for his date.

Meanwhile at Tibby's house, Carmen,Bridget and Lena were helping thier friend get ready for her date.
"How about this?"Lean said, holding up a yellow short-sleeved dress, with flowers on it."
"No, too junior high looking, said Bridget, who was holding a black top with matching mini-skirt, "What do you think of this?"
"What's wrong with what I'm wearing?"Tibby asked, indicating her bell-bottom jeans and pesant top she was.
"The jeans are fine, but change the top, said Carmen,"Now about your hair."
Just then, Reabeca, Tibby's step-mother entered the room.
"You guys having a fashion show?"she asked with a laugh.
"Tibby's got a date,"Bridget said with a laugh.
"Did you tell your Dad?"
"Not yet, said Tibby, But if I do, he'll give me one of his lectures.
I mean, I'm almost 19 I wish he'd treat me like an adult."
Reabrca thought for a minute and said,"I'll talk to him."
Tibby hugged Reabeca and said,Thanks Bec."
"The twins might be up from their nap now," said Reabeca.
She then left the room.
"You know Tib, said Carmen leaning next to Tibby, "I happy about this date and all, but I'm just a bit nervous and concerned for you."
"What do you mean?"Tibby asked.
"Well, not too many of your boyfirends last that long."
"Not only that but you did had a pretty tough childhood as well," said Lena.
What Lean said brought up memories for Tibby were of her Mom leaving her, her brother and Father, when she was just four after being digignosed with CP, leaving her dad to juggle work and Tibby and her older brother.
But, when her Dad meet Reabeca, Tibby got not only a new mom along with a step-brother and sister, but half siblings as well.
Tibby then blinked back tears.
"You ok Tib?"Bridget asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine, Tibby asked, Can I see what tops you had in mind Carmen?"

My next fic is going to be a mega comedy I promise
Anyway, enough of my rambling, on with the story...

"Hi Tibby," Micky called to her.
Tibby decided to not let her disability get in her way.
She wheeled herself out from the table and greeted Micky.
What was the worse that could happen?
Micky would not feel comfortable with her wheelchair and said "Hi Micky, it's greet to see you again."
"Wow you look great," Micky told Tibby.
Tibby couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the look on Micky's face.
He didn't look the least bit shock,nervous, or surprised by her wheelchair.
"Uh,thank you?"Tibby said.
"Is something the matter?"Micky asked.
"I'm fine, I'm just surprised that you didn't react to this."
Tibby then indicated her chair by tapping on the armrests.
"I'm not bothered by it at all,"Micky finally spoke up.
"Really?"Tibby asked.
"Not at all.
When I was a kid, I went to school with some one in a wheelchair, and he was a good friend of mine."
"It didn't bother you?"
"At first I was a little nervous, but then I realized no matter what, he's was a kid like me."
Tibby smiled and said,"This is the first time I met a guy who treated me like a regular person."
"I'm glad we diecided to go out," said Micky.
"Me to."

Micky and Tibby spend the whole night talking and eating pizza.
Micky told Tibby about his friends/bandmates and how they would have problems with their landlord.
Tibby told Micky about her friends and how she was taking college courses to study photography.
"Groovy, I enjoy taking pictures myself,"said Micky.
"Yeah, I hope to one day travel the world and photograph all the neat places there are.
Micky then ordered a sundae for the two of them to share.
After Micky ate a spoonful of icecream, Tibby giggled at him.
"What's so funny?"he asked.
"Nothing, it's just you look funny with the whipped cream on your nose.
Micky gave Tibby an embrassed smile as he took a napkin to wipe the whipped cream off his face.

Let's see what I got...

As he drove back to the pad, Micky had different emtions running through his head.
He was smiling by the winderfuk time he had with Tibby, however, he couldn't help but feel bad for her, due to her family and friends being over protective of her.
When Micky walked through the door, he was surprised to see that the guys were still up and sitting in the living room.
"So, was your date lover-boy?"Mike asked with a laugh.
"Looks like we got another Davy,"Peter laughed as well.
Davy gave Peter and dirty look, then turned Micky,"So, is she amazing?"
"Her name is Tibby, and she's a real groovy girl,Micky answered, Only, I feel kind of bad for her."
"How come?"
"You see, she's in a wheelchair.
But I feel bad because, her whole family and even her friends are so protective of her."
"Man, that's tough," said Davy.
"Are you going to see her again?"Peter asked.
"You bet, Micky answered.

Let's see what I got...

Micky went to search for Tibby's number, he found it on the nightstand by his bed.
He then picked up the phone and called her up.
The phone rang for a few seconds, before someone answered it.
"Hell-o?"the voice over the phone said.
Micky smiled, he reginized the voice.
"Tibby, it's Micky."
"Hi Micky, this is such a surprise," said Tibby through the reciver.
"Why are you suprised that I called?"
"I thought after what my parents did last night, you might not want to see me again."
"Oh no, in fact that's why I'm calling.
My friends would like to meet you."
"Sounds great, maybe I can get my friends to come with me.
Hold on a second, ok?"
It turns out, Tibby was talking on the phone in her bedroom.
She turned to her friends and asked, You guys want to come?
"Sure," said Lena.
"Sounds good to me," said Carmen.
"I'm in to," said Bridget.
Tibby got back on the phone to tell Micky that her friends were coming with her.
"Great," said Micky.
He then gave her direction on how to get there.
"By the way, would like to go to the beach?"
Tibby turned to her friends again and asked if they like to go the beach.
They all answered yes.
"Groovy, said Micky, Is a half hour good for you?"
"Sure, see you then, bye."
Tibby hung up the phone.
"I hope his friends are comfortable by all this," said Carmen.
"Car, you worry to much," said Bridget, throwing a pillow at her.
"Carmen does have a point, you are you going to said to your dad?"Lena asked, as she was putting a long red hair in a ponytail.
"I'll tell him we're going out for a few hours and not bring up Micky.
The girls went along with Tibby's plan and taking off in Bridget's car, they were off to the pad.


When they got there, they were greeted by the Monkees, who were outside waiting for them.
Carmen was the first to get out, open the trunk, got out Tibby's wheelchair and set it up for her.
As soon as she got out of the car and into her chair Tibby rushed to Micky, who gave her a kiss.
Mike then cleared his throat.
Micky then said, "Oh, I forgot my manners, Tibby, these are my friends, Mike,Davy and Peter."
"It's nice to meet you guys, said Tibby shaking the guys hands.
Tibby then turned her friends and said,"These are my friends, Bridget,Lena and Carmen.
After everyone introduced one another, they headed off to the beach.
One the way, Davy had taken a liking to Lena, as did Peter with Bridget and Mike with Carmen.
"Looks like everyone's getting along great,"Tibby whispered to Micky.

Everyone had fun on the beach.
Davy and Bridget took a walk along the dunes,while Peter and and Lena hunted for shells, before joining Mike and Carmen in a game of volleyball.
The game was guys against the girls, however only Micky and Tibby stood on the side.
Tibby turned to Micky and saidm"You know, you can go ahead and play if you want."
"That's ok, I'm not good at this game anyway,Micky answered, Besides, I don't think I'm allowed to play vollleyball anymore.
"Why?"
"The last time I did played, I broke some of my landlord's windows because I spiked the ball too hard."
Tibby bagan to laugh.

As everyone was eating, they heard the phone ring, due to the fact that the patio door was opened.
"I'll get it,"Mike said getting up to answer the phone.
As soon as he left the table,Peter took a pickle from Mike's plate, causing everyone to laugh.
Meanwhile,Mike was in the pad answering the phone.
"Hell-o?"Mike spoke into the phone.
"Is this Mr.Dolenz?"shouted an angry voice on the phone.
"No, this is his bandmate.
May I asked who this is?"
"This is Mr.Rollins, Tabbitha's Father.
I know my daughter's over at your house!"
Tibby was indeed at the pad, but had to lie to protect her.
"I don't think she is sir, maybe she's at her friends.
"I called her friend's houses at she at nither one of them!"
Plus, my wife found your phone number and direction to your house in Tabbitha's room.
We're on our way to get her now!"
"Sir wait a minute..."
Mike didn't had a chance to speak, for he heard the phone on the end disconnected.
Mike hung-up the phone and went back to the table, looking rather worry.
"What's wrong?"Davy asked.
"Who was that on the phone?"Micky asked.
Mike finally spoke up and said, "Tibby that was your Dad, he's coming by to get you."
"What?! Tibby shouted, I trusted Reabeca!"
"Who's Reabeca?"Peter asked.
"My step-mother!"
Just then everyone heard a car pull up in front of the pad.
"Looks like they're here," said Mike.
Everyone headed into the pad.
Suddenly, there was a bang at the door.
The Monkees looked at each-other, then Mike went to open the door.
When he opened it, and sure enough there were Tibby's parents.
Without so much of a word as Hell-o, Tibby's Father stormed into the pad.
He spotted Tibby, holding Micky's hand.
Looking absoultly enraged, he rushed up to her, grabbed the back of her chair and headed out the door.
"Come on Tibby, We're going home!"
"Micky!"Tibby shouted, slipping through Micky's hand.
"You will not be seeing him again!" Tibby's Father yelled.
at her.
Tibby wanted to say something, but ened up crying instead.

As soon as Micky closed the door of the bedroom, and lied down on his bed.
He had different emtions running through him.
He was upset to see how Tibby's Dad and Step-mom were treating Tibby as if she were a small child, he was also angry, because of how Mr.Rollins talked down to him.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
Micky didn't answered, but the door opened anyway.
It was the guys, as well as Bridget,Lena and Carmen.
"Hey, how you doing shotgun?"Mike asked.
"I'm still in one piece," Micky said, trying his best to sound positive.
"Listen, we aplogize for Tibby's Father, you know, the way he acted, said Bridget, This isn't the first time it's happened."
"He just doesn't want Tibby to get hurt again," said Lena.
"What do you mean again?" Micky asked.
The girls then told Micky about Tibby's life.
"That's awful," he said, after the story.
"So don't think he hates you, he's just over-protective," said Carmen.
"Try over bearing Car," said Bridget.
"Thanks everyone, but what I need is plan to see Tibby," said Micky.
"That's why we came up here," said Davy.
"Yeah, we want to help," said Peter.
This made Micky smile.
"But first, we need a plan," said Mike.
After sometime of thinking, they had the perfect plan.

Soon after, The Monkees followed the girls up to Tibby's house.
They parked both cars on the side of the road, so they wouldn't been seen.
The guys got out of the car, with Peter and Mike each carrying a guitar, meanwhile, Bridget,Carmen and Lena hide in the bushes that were in front of the side of the house.
"Ok, the coast is clear, go," said Carmen, poking her head out of the bush.
The Monkees then stepped onto the front lawn,Mike and Peter then played their guitars and Micky began to sing.
"Sometime in the morning,a simple thought may accure to you and you hold her,"Micky sang.
A window at the upper level of the house opened, and sure enough, it was the window to Tibby's room.
"Micky?"she said.
"Shh! your Dad might hear us," said Micky.
He countinued to sing as he climbed up the side of the house.
This made Tibby laugh and smile.
Micky was then up by the window still, he looked down and nodded with a smile.
Mike,Davy and Peter knew it was their cue to leave.
"Micky, this is the nicest thing a guy has ever done for me,"she said.
Just then, there was aloud bang at the door.
"Tibby, are you talking to that guy on the phone?!"
It was her Dad.
The sound cause Micky to fall, but luckily for him, a pile of grass clippings broke his fall.
Mr.Rollins tore the door open and looked to see that Micky was on the ground and trying to get up.
Mr.Rollins then dashed out of the room,headed down the stairs and out the door.
Micky saw him and tried to run, but tripped.
Mr.Rollins then pinned Micky to the ground and shouted to his wife, "Reabeca call the police, I want this man arrest for harassment and trustpassing!"

While that was happening, Carmen,Lena and Bridget scrambled into the house and raced up to Tibby's room.
Tibby, who was looking out the window, heard them coming and was surprsied to see them at the door.
"What are you guys doing here?"she asked.
"You folks are calling the cops on Micky!" said Carmen.
"What?!"
"Yeah, Reabeca is making the call right now!" said Lena.
"We better hurry!" said Bridget.
And with that, the girls headed out the room and down the stairs.
When they reached the door, they saw that the police were there.
"Dad, what are you doing?!" Tibby shouted to her Father.
Mr.Rollins turned to his daughter and friends and said, "Tibby, get back in the house!
You shouldn't be seeing this."
"Please stop this, Micky didn't do anything wrong.
"He was trustpassing!"
"Because you told me that I couldn't see him!"
Tibby then wheeled over to Micky, who was talking with a police officer, who then headed Mr. Rollins.
"Micky, she said, pushing her chair closer to him.
"Are you ok?"
"I'm fine, said Micky giving her a hug, I just gave my story to the officer.
At that moment, Davy, Mike and Peter appoarched the girls.
"What's going on?" Davy asked.
"Mr. Rollins called the police on Micky," said Carmen.
"What? said Mike, How come?"
"Trustpassing," said Lena.
"What's going to happen to Micky?"Peter asked.
Just then, they heard Tibby screaming, for at that minute an officer was placing handcuffs on Micky.

"Don't worry miss, thanks to your father's concern, this man won't bother you anymore," the officer said to Tibby.
Everyone then raced over to the car, as the police were placing Micky in the backseat.
"Micky!" Tibby yelled.
"It will be ok I'll get out," Micky said, through inside the car.
As the police car drove away, everyone had different emtions running through them.
Brigdet,Lena and Carmen were in shock, as were Davy and Mike, and Peter started to cry.
Meanwhile, Tibby was expressing her anger as she turned to her father and said, "How could you do this to me?
No, how could you do this to Micky?!"
She was starting to cry as she yelled.
"He deserved it, there was no excuse for his behavior!" said Mr.Rollins.
"There was an excuse, you were the excuse!
You being over protective of me!
If you weren't so concerned over me, Micky won't be on his way to jail!"
Tibby then wheeled over to her friends.
At that moment, Reabeca then came outside the house and check to see what was going on.
"Is everything ok?" she asked.
"No it isn't," said Tibby as she and her friends walked over to Tibby's car.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to stay at Bridget's."
The girls then got into Bridget's car, and Mr. Rollins and Reabeca raced to the car.
"Tibby, get back in the house!" shouted Mr. Rollins.
"Please, Tibby," said Reabeca.
But the car drove away.
At that moment, for the first time in days, Mr. Rollins and his wife were more upset than angry.
Meanwhile the Monkees were about to leave, when he called them over.
"Excuse me, young men," he said to the guys.
"What do you want? asked Mike, sound not friendly.
"I'm very sorry about what I did," said Mr. Rollins.
"Sorry, you just send our best friend to jail," said Davy, sounding the same way as Mike.
"And we don't have the money to bail him out,"Peter sniffed.
"I wish I could do something," said Mr. Rollins.
"Haven't you done enough?" said Mike as he Davy and Peter got in the Monkeemobile and took off.
They stopped at the jail to see Micky, and hopefully get him out, but visiting hours were over, so they went home.

Meanwhile, in the jail, Micky was booked and placed in a cell.
He sat down on a cot and thought of what happened this evening.
All he wanted to do was go out with a girl, now he was in jail because of her over protective father.
Though Micky tried to sleep that night, all he could think about was Tibby.
He blicked back tears before he finally fell to sleep.
The next morning,Micky was woken by the voice of an officer.
"Ok, sir, your bail is here, you're free to go," said the officer, unlocking the cell door.
Micky was happy to get out, but confussed.
How did he get bail, it couldn't had been from the guys, due to not having any money.
Micky stepped out of the cell, and was surprised to see that Mr. Rollins.
"Hi," said Micky sounding tired.
"Hell-o," said Mr. Rollins.
"Sir, you'll be happy to hear that I promised I won't be seeing your daughter again."
"Relax, and please call me Alan."
Micky was surprised to see that Mr. Rollins was sounding calm.
"Mr, er Alan, first of all thank you for bailing me out, but how come you did it?" Micky asked.
"Because I need your help, said Alan, And don't worry about paying me back, after all I put you through, it's the least I can do."
"Thank you, but you don't have to."
"I wanted to.
You see, after Tibby's been through so much in her life, I just wanted to protect her from getting hurt again, and I guess I let my emtions get the better of me."
The two went outside to see that Bridget, Carmen and Lean were there, as were Davy,Mike and Peter, who ran up and gave Micky a big hug.
"Peter, I was only in jail for a few hours," said Micky, letting go of his friend.
"Where's Tab, I mean Tibby?" Mr. Rollins asked.
"She's still over at my place," said Bridget.
"She has trouble getting in and out becasue it' not wheelchair access," said Lena.
"Then let's get her," said Carmen.
The girls and Mr. Rollins then took off in Bridget's car, followed by the guys in the Monkeemobile.

Soon, everyone arrived at the apartment complex.
Bridget then honked her car car horn and called her friend,"Tibby! Look what we found!"
Tibby looked out the window to see Micky.
"Micky! she cried out, I wish I can come out, but it's all stairs!"
Mr. Rollins turned to Micky and said," Go ahead.
"Thank you," Micky said heading up the stairs.
Tibby greeted him at the door, and Micky carried her down the stairs of the building.
"Looks like your Dad likes me," Micky said to Tibby with a laugh.
"Actually, he came over early this morning, and we had a talk about what happend last night, and he promised to be less protective of me, and he knows how much we love eachother," said Tibby.
"Really?"
"Yes."
By the time they reached the bottom of the stairs, the two began to kiss.
The Monkees and the girls clapped and cheered.
Mr.Rollins just smiled.
Indeed Mr.Rollins and Reabeca began to let Tibby make decisions of her own, including getting her own place whcih Micky often visited.
Tibby's Dad, Step-Mother and friends learned that despite Tibby's situation, she was able to live a normal life.
One day, while on date, Tibby asked Micky,"I was wondering, if I wasn't in this wheelchair, would you still go out with me?"
"Yes, because you're smart, beautiful and funny, said Micky, and I love you, no matter what."
"Really?"
Micky whispered to Tibby,"No matter what.", then the two shared a kiss.
Though there were times when the two went out, they got the occasional looks from people, it didn't matter, because they were in love.
But soon, everyone learned that love is the only thing that matters.
