The mod and admin jobs are handed out by me and me alone. I only say this so you won't ask any of the mods or admins if they'll grant you status.

The best way to get a mod job here is to be here a LOT, know a LOT about the Monkees and learn all the new things that Ezboard develops for us. Posting Monkee news to the board from other sources is also a GOOD way to catch my eye! :D It keeps me from having to run all over the place tracking down the info myself.

The worst mistake you can make is to ask (or even hint) that you want a position. It just bugs me. Sorry. :(

If you've been around a LOT, posted a LOT, been a BIG help to me, know a LOT, haven't asked for a mod position and there's one open...you may just be asked if you'd like it. :D

I have to be very careful about who I ask to admin, because an admin can do anything here I can do, so it has to be somebody that I know well and trust completely. If I pick somebody to be an admin and they get mad at me, they can destroy the board. :( They can erase all the forums and ban all the members, including me! Of course, I can get back in, but I'd have heck trying to fix everything again!

However, if you've been a mod and show a genuine interest in having more responsibily, you'll be considered for an admin position, should one become available. Admins get to know all the juicy behind-the-scenes stuff! ;)

Anyway, I just thought I'd throw this in here, in case any of the newbies were wondering.
