A the rate if it being a highly overrated word: Bill, that is AWESOME!
I guess I will get a second tattoo after all! It won't be near as cool as this.....but I had been debating for a long time getting one that just sez NEZ. -Bill, who suffers for Nez. No kidding, Bill. I remember the "Giant Rug Burn" feeling when they shaded my first tattoo - holy cow, your's must have been a doozy!! And with "Black Beauty" at that!

I'm still in awe, I have to look at it again. The artist who did it deserves kudos too!!! 
That's the big thing at work now, everybody's talking about their next tattoo. I'm going to log in & show them this one and tell them this is what I'm getting. It will freak them out - they think I'M the quiet one!! (In the words of the Immortal Bugs Bunny: hee hee hee, they don't know me very well, do they?) They all think my next one is going to be The Monkees logo. As I said before, I was thinking "NEZ". But now the gerbils are scrambling and waking up the old brain cells........ ~LuAnne

I got it done by Rayne at Monster Monkey Tattoos (oh, the irony) in Melbourne, FL. She was so happy with the way it came out that she took a bunch of pictures
to stick in her personal portfolio. Pretty cool.
I have the Monkees logo further up on my right arm (see pic below). I got that one at Awesome Tattos in Savannah, GA.

I have 2 Tats (from my younger GI/biker days)and I have pretty much grown up out the phase cause I sort of wish I never did get them but If I had to do it over
again, I would have put more thought into what designs I would have gotten.
Obviously you gave this a lot of thought and you have a fine product there. I don't think I will ever outgrow Nez or his music either after 40 plus years. |
