You know, no matter how many years go by without the guys seeing each other, whenever any combination of them get back together, even for a short time like
this, that great chemistry that they all had and still have, comes right back. It's great to see.

3 monkees in 1969 on Raiders' TV show Happening - never was a favorite clip of mine personally, but at least someone kindly posted it.

OK, if you can get through this dumb Nickelodeon show and the commercials, you can see 2 clips of Micky, Davy and Peter hosting Nickelodeon's Nick Rocks from 1987. (Remember the Nick Rocks Wacky Show, anyone?). There is more to the guys appearance than what is here, but it's a glimpse of the guys from 1987 even though it's real short. To save yourself from having to watch the whole almost 11 minute video, to see 2 clips of the guys that are less than a minute total, fast forward to the 7:19 & 9:25 points of the video. |

Here is a cute video I found on YouTube. It's photos set to "Love to Love". That's one of my favorite songs. Anyone else?

That is the 3 Monkees appearance on the Glen Campbell Show - they never post the better part which is a skit the 3 guys do about entertaining
in the different decades. I think this video usually gets pulled. I have a copy of it myself and it has those same large annoying numbers in the middle of the
screen. Remember Glen Campbell that played guitar on Mary Mary; he was a big session musician before hitting it big himself as a country singer.

Ya'll have probably seen these before, but I searched and didn't see anything. Since I was updating my profile tonight and added them on, I thought I
would post them here, too.

I posted this in another thread, but figured I should post it here.
Here is my first attempt at a Monkees video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fnoTCmpdl4 I'd appreciate any ratings, comments, messages, constructive criticism. I don't care, I just like to see what people think, even if they think it
sucks. I also made a second video, but warning: it doesn't use any of the Monkees music. I took a bunch of clips from other videos I found on YouTube
and put them together to this other song. I stated in the description that I didn't upload the videos myself. I only spliced/edited them together. I
meant it in fun, but if anybody is bothered by it, I'll gladly remove it. I had fun making it, but I don't want to bug anyone.

Just saying a quick Hi, all.
I sat down at the PC to take a break and went to YouTube and somehow found this after seeing a Peter clip Monkees Promo on the Monkees from late 1967: it's all footage from the TV show set to I'm A Believer from the UK show: Top of the Pops. All B/W too, no color. Top of the Pops |

Very cool find, Marnweb!!! While looking through the other Top of the Pops clips on youtube, I found these:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yH6RcspqNmE Davy on Top of The Pops 1968 (the audio on this goes
out right as Davy goes on camera)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ7gq80Y5tM Top of the Pops Rare Still Photos. There are 2 Sammy
pics here.

When The Monkees are away....their pad set is invaded by the Flying Nun gang.... This is a clip from the Flying Nun from 1967. I remember this episode, mainly because the first thing I spotted was the Monkees pad in the episode. Both shows were produced by Screen Gems, and all the sets were constantly crossed over on the various shows there. Remember the guys on the Bewitched set during the opening of the "Monkees on Tour" episode? I guess this is in exchange for Monkees on the Wheel being shot on parts of the Casino Carlos set of The Flying Nun. |
