Cute pictures, Tammy! It's nice to get to see what you look like -- though I realize you don't always have pink, blue (or is it green?) and yellow designs on your face! I've been trying to figure out if the painted spots are supposed to be representative pictures of anything or if they're more "abstract" designs. The pink one looks as if it could be a dragon -- or maybe even Barney, and some of the smaller spots look like they might be stars or suns, but I can't tell for sure.

Thanks for sharing that picture, Actrss12B, and I'm looking forward to seeing the one from the banquet too. How cool about that volunteer being the mother of your fiance's friends! (I'm assuming that Keith is your fiance. Please forgive me if I misunderstood.)

I am a turtleneck person too. I have two drawers full of turtlenecks -- both the cotton kind and the warmer, knitted kind, and I wear them almost everyday either as my main shirt or under other types of shirts, sweaters, or even dresses from about mid-October (or whenever the weather starts getting colder) until it starts getting warmer in the spring. I tend to be sensitive to cold -- especially on my neck, so here we are on April 5th, and even though it went up to almost 60 degrees today, I still wore a turtleneck under my dress when I went out!

I think a lot of guys feel uncomfortable in turtlenecks, though. My husband doesn't like to wear them and neither does my younger son. My older son does, so now his brother has a whole drawer full of hand-me-down turtlenecks that he absolutely refuses to wear! I guess it's time to hand them down to someone else who will wear them.

Btw, I've noticed that Peter Tork seems to have no problem with turtlenecks -- and he looks darn good in them too!
And of course he had that famous line from the "Monstrous Monkee Mash" episode -- "What a time to be caught without a turtleneck!"
