The episode originally aired on 9-27-1972. I've been looking for this episode for my collection for quite some time. Just wanted to pass this info along. Hey, I actually thought this thread was about Mick on The Monkees biograpy on A &E on April 1 at 9pm est. I saw that when I tried watching the Micky video on biography.com again. Couldn't get the vido, but at least I'll try not to miss the show this time. I believe it's also on at 2am on April 2.

I think it's on the Biography Channel on April 1st & 2nd at 9 PM and 1 AM, respectively and on A&E on April 6th. I know it's available quite a few places. We get it here in PA and I know that Cindy gets that channel in Georgia. Micky was in quite a few scenes,not just a short cameo. We got to see Micky drink beer and carry an automatic weapon. LOL. Seriously,though,it wasn't bad at all.

Well, on second thought, 7 am is a little early to wake up on the weekend and I don't have anything to record it. I couldn't sleep last night. It started out as just debating on getting up early. I thought I'd just see how I felt in the morning. Then that led to thinking about Micky and daydreaming about him all night, which got me all wound up. I only got to watch the first half hour, because stuff came up and I had to get moving. I was just in the best mood and giddy with excitement concentrating to the Micky parts for awhile. But as the day wore on, I sure paid for a sleepless night and getting up early. I kind of didn't fel too god and I was in a tired fog after awhile. But it was worth watching 1/2 hour of Micky on tv. And by the way, for anyone else who hasn't seen it yet, it's the same old story, nothing we haven't heard before. It was just nice to see a recent interview on tv. Micky was wearing that pin you see in the pics wearing that tan suit. I'd love to know the story behind it. And I actually didn't quite get everything Micky was talking about. It kind of sounded like the same old stuff. I really wasn't paying too much attention to what he was saying. That would explain all of your middle-of-the-night posts here at ML, Ray! So what time do you usually wake up and how much sleep do you average in a day? As for me, I generally have to get up at about 5:30 AM during the week, and if I manage to sleep until 8 AM on weekends I consider that "late." 9 AM is purely luxurious for me! Mickluv, I'm glad you got to see at least part of the show. Here's hoping it will be rerun again eventually at a time that is more convenient for you. And maybe you'll be able to save up for a VCR or even a DVD recorder by then. (Now that DVDs are so much more popular, the prices on VCRs have come way down, I think.)

If I'm awoke by the kids getting up for school at 5:30am,I am most likely unable to get back to sleep. Sometimes I will go for two solid days with no sleep. Angie keeps me company alot since she has insomnia,too. And I've been on edge these past few weeks because John has not been doing too well and his doctors have ordered tests,tests and more tests.
