Monty Python is one I can think of.

My utmost favorite, "Are You Being Served" with Mrs. Slocum always talking about how she needs to go home to check on her 'p u s s y' meaning
her kitty cat (not the word you dirty minds are thinking of). She always had different colored hair as well.
Trevor Bannister played, "Mr. Lucas" and he was hilarious!

I'm not sure where to start! It's probably easier to ask what I haven't - I never liked "Yes, Minister", I always thought that dull
I never really liked Monty Python or Are you Being Served either - sorry! Hehehe - I know I'm just about the only person ever who doesn't like Python. I like things like Blackadder, Red Dwarf and Steptoe - I think those three are my faves, but I love loads more. I love British films too - especially if they have the Beatles in *goes all patriotic* I really think some of our films are the best in the world - I've never much cared for the
Hollywood-action type stuff.

I never heard of most of those, or BBC America. In ages past I used to watch Monty Python once in awhile.

One of my favorite movies is "Girl On A Motorcycle" with Marianne Faithful. It's kind of off balance - like "Head" I had to watch it
several times before it made any sense. It was made in 1967. Hmmmm

Talking about British movies made in the sixties, one of the movies I quite like is To Sir With Love.

A couple of the first British shows I ever really watched & enjoyed her in the USA in the late 60s early 70s time range was "The Saint" with
Roger Moore and "The Avengers" with Patrick McNee & Diana Rigg. Thes shows were in Black & white at the time too. I usually was able to catch
some of the old Dr Who. The Daleks were just too wierd!

The only British tv show I can think of that I've watched is "Who's Line is it Anyway" and the only movies I can think of are "Shaun of
the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz". I do enjoy Hayley Mills too, but I think the only things I've seen her in were American shows (the original
"Parent Trap" and it's sequels, and the original season of "Saved By the Bell" which was originally called "Good Morning Miss
Bliss"). I think I saw her on some other Disney movies a while back (obviously re-airings because she was a kid on the ones I saw and I wasn't born
until 1976), but I don't remember the names.

We have "Girl On A Motorcycle" on DVD and it's really an odd film. Marianne Faithfull is very pretty.

I love comedy quizzes too like QI
You guys really have the best quiz shows. Comedy or not comedy. I love QI, so far I have only seen the very first season but I have "E" to watch all ready. And I never can get enough of "Never Mind The Buzzcocks", especially since Simon Amstell is doing it. When I am in England I always watch all kinds of quizzes on TV. *facepalm* I personally think British TV is the best anyway. I like American shows as well but the Brits produce more stuff I really get hooked upon. I adore nearly all the crime stuff. From "A Touch Of Frost" over "Inspector Lynley" to "Silent Witness" and everything in between. Also, of course, there is "Young Ones", and "Only Fools And Horses" (I've only seen a handful of those though At the moment I am all about Torchwood and Doctor Who! I never was able to get into Doctor Who before but then the Tennant and Billie Piper appeared on it with the new Who, and I just had to watch it and I got hooked. And from Doctor Who to Torchwood is not a big leap, is it? And all the various Jane Austen adaptions. So much love for those Haha, okay I stop now, I am just way too much in love with British TV at the moment ~Fuz

Movies I like are the Full Monty and Shaun of the Dead. Cindy, I also love How Clean is Your House. It amazes me that people actually live in that filth and
don't mind it being shown on TV!!

I used to watch one in college (a million years ago, before many of you were even born! ) that I think was called "Doctor in the House" (?) - used to
put me on the floor from laughing so hard.
And, of course "All Creatures Great & Small" - I loved that show! Movies - there are lots, but among my favorites are "84 Charing Cross Road" and "Hope and Glory"
