hi i'm elizabeth from virginia. long time monkee fan. my brother gave me the record "that was then this is now" when i was 5 (i'm 26) and
i've been hooked ever since. i don't have any interesting stories or cool memorabilia 
but i hope one day i can meet some/one of the guys! that is
all.

wow i've never had such a welcome at a message board!
that was then this is now was my first monkees album...then in the 90s i bought the monkees greatest hits cassette then recently i bought the best of the monkees cd. i went online and downloaded another cds worth of songs that i didn't have....i LOVE take a giant step...brilliant. and yes i've been enjoying the seasons 1 & 2 dvds. i've been watching them nonstop since i got them. it's neat to see how well the show stands up after all this time. some of the shows i watched when i was young seem so stupid to me now...but monkees is just pure entertainment. i actually can't not smile when i watch them.
