Do I need a new computer? 
It was going so slowly again
that when I went back to the board, I forgot which thread I was on!! That last message was meant to be posted in phobias, obviously!! Please moderators or
adminies, feel free to move that message to the correct thread! And I will be more careful from now on. This is getting crazy. I also need some sleep...
This was my first time reading through the messages on that page. I send well wishes to everyone and their families. I hope everything is well for you guys.
I am off to bed.

Pretty neat, Shane! Our town is actually providing the backdrop for a movie right now but it's an independent film so I doubt many people will see it.
Still, it's kind of fun to see the cameras, grips, etc.
Fortunately our weather cooled off after a weekend in the low 90s. Today I doubt it made it to 68, overcast and windy. I like the cooler temperatures but my body is complaining about it. What's the line from the Garth Brook's song? "I'm much too young to feel this d*** old". Speaking of feeling old, on Saturday I went to a memorial service for the pianist in one of the churches I'd served. By coincidence, her daughter's family attends a the church in Berkeley where I interned. I'd had her grandson in the junior high group. Back then he was a bit on the chunky side and a little shy. Well, at 25 he is a sports caster in New Jersey for high school sports, tall dark and incredibly good looking! I mean, if I was single and ten years younger I would have flirted with him! He's also become quite charming...telling me he'd recognize me anywhere because I haven't changed....Even if it was a lie, I'll take that little ego boost!

I admit this is a lot of fun. Stuff like this doesn't happen very often where I live, so everybody really gets into the spirit of it around here. I did
manage to get a pretty decent "getaway" shot today. I'll start a separate thread for my photos.

It is indeed a YUKU thing. I believe there were a couple of "planned" down time spots. This is still a relatively new system, and there are still
issues here and there that need to be worked on.

Thanks, Shane. That's kind of what I figured.
This has been a week for appointments. The dentist and optomistrist for my daughter, the doctor for myself. My right hand has been stiff and swollen for the past week and my hubby told me I should go see my GP for it. I told him she'd tell me it would either be over-use or the beginning of some early arthritis. And guess what? That's exactly what she said. Perhaps I missed my calling in life. I'm getting an x-ray tomorrow which should be tell me which one it is.
I'm not real thrilled with either one of the choices! I'm ambidextrous, which you'd think would be helpful but unfortunately my tendonitis is in
my left arm. Maybe I just need a long vacation somewhere!

Up a little ways on this page I just happened to see that comment....are you talking about Johnny Depp? He was also in my area the last week of March, in the first part of the week. He was filming on location at the old Crown Point Jail, where Dillinger escaped. It is said that 2,000 fans were there to greet him throughout - at the wrap, he shook hands, did autographs....my son has a friend who was there, and got Depp's autograph on a poster his friend had. I had to laugh cuz the boy says "I saw him! I saw him!" and then the boy says just like me with meeting Micky, (I had told him about it when I went to see Pippin), that's how he feels at meeting Johnny Depp. After Depp was through hereabouts, he had gone to Chicago - he was also in Wisconsin? The movie
must be mostly location shooting.
But of course, round here there are always people who loudly protest the seeming interest in Dillinger to this day. He had robbed a bank in East Chicago besides break out of the Crown Point jail, I think killed a guard or policeman too at the bank....so, there were those who complained about all the hoopla over Depp because of who he was portraying. But oh well, can't please everybody......

This coming saturday,the 26th,is my senior prom. And I have a date! I don't have to go alone,which I thought was going to be the case. I had to get a
different dress,a white one this time,'cause the black one was unflattering. We just went and got my shoes today. John is going,too. He also has a date.
I promise to post pictures,if anyone would want to see 'em,that is.
