So.....did anyone see the celebrity-video shown last Thurs on the show? It was I'm A Believer!
 And sung by our guys, not the one by Smashmouth, so
that's a good thing! Looks to me like some of the stars lip-sync'd to it, like they did last year for Stayin' Alive. No Micky-sitings on the show
yet, anyone?
And now this week is Mariah Carey - this will be interesting, howe can they sing her songs when she is all over the scale? Especially the guys, ya know? Has to be for publicity, she's got a new cd out called E = mc squared (heh don't know if there's a 'squared' thingy). She says it means Emancipation (from her other cd) = Mariah Carey to the second power, lol.

So who goes this week? I've narrowed it down in my mind to either Brooke or Jason. I think I'll pick Jason, though I don't think that Brooke's
"stop and start again" thing did her any favors. It was cute the first time--now it's just annoying.

I think Brooke will be going too. I think it was pretty classy how she continued on though. I think Jason sounded awful and Carly sounded like she was
screaming. The Davids were just okay but I think the best of the night was Syesha.

I sure wish David Cook had done "Superstar" instead of Carly. That's not to say that I don't think Cook did a fine job on "Music Of The
Night", I think he did just fine, but man he could have just knocked it out of the park with "Superstar". Jesus Christ Superstar is one of my
fave musicals of all time, so I'm really glad they included something from that show.

I agree with you, Shane. The public loves David A. As far as actual singing it has to be David C. I think both David A and Jason's delivery is a little
weak. The only thing about Jason that is remotely Sanjayalike is his dreads. He could be labelled "Mr. Dreamy" as far as his face is concerned. He
has an angelic beauty. They all can sing, of course, or they wouldn't still be there. But I vote for David C to be the next AI.

Boy that was a surprising outsome. I thought for sure Brooke would be outed, after she flubbed the lyrics at the beginning of her song.
Hmm, it may be that Carly was booted out because she has tatoos - and then singing Jesus Christ Superstar. Perhaps a bit much for some of the viewers. Hmm, now I'm wondering the demographics of the viewers of the show.

I feel the same way tonight as I did last week. Either Jason or Brooke goes. I lean more towards Jason, as I think Brooke did a passable job, and at least
looked comfortable with her selections. But then again, I didn't see last week's result coming at all, so who am I to say?

I'm voting for Jason myself..but I'm probably wrong. Wouldn't mind seeing them on tour though--they'll be coming to the D.C. area. My neice
bought me a Neil Diamond ticket..it's for "all The Davy concerts I took her to for the past ten years!" Kids--gotta love 'em!

Was Syesha's hair a wig or a weave? What an improvement! She is really pretty and has a great range, but has a tendancy to be flat at times. Jason has
such a beautiful face, but IMO his voice is a little weak. I can't understand David C's words but he has a good stage presence. If I were to vote
(which I haven't done since Ruben beat out Clay and I couldn't even get in to vote for Clay, and I tried all evening), I would vote for David A. I
would rather listen to him. (And watch Jason.
)
