Anyone have any special plans for tomorrow?

I have to work all day tomorrow, which absolutely stinks, as I would rather spend time with my mother instead. But today, we are going to have lunch together
and then possibly put flowers on my grandparents grave that my mother loves to do seasonally. Other than that, we do have a meeting tonight at the VFW though.
But I would rather NOT work tomorrow. At least it's my only day for a week. I hate retail.
What about you, Nora? |

We're going to church in the morning, then to brunch at the senior living center where my grandfather and his wife live. I'm not sure about the rest
of the afternoon, but probably just relaxing. Maybe a family swim if the weather is nice. Today (just in the past hour, actually) I've cleaned the
kitchen, vacuumed the house, started the laundry trimmed the rose trees and pulled the weeds in our garden. I want to make certain I'm not going to have
to do housework tomorrow! And that was after an hour of water aerobics! The only reason I could pull this off is my daughter is at a playdate and my husband
and my son are out doing "father/son things", whatever that means.

Well we are going to stop at my mother in laws house and when we get home my husband is cooking me dinner. He only cooks once a year either on Mother's Day
or my birthday. I had to work for the last 6 days and I will have to get up early tomorrow, clean and do some shopping because I am just too tired now to do
it. I had an aggravating afternoon at the nursing home where I work. The daughter of one of my residents is a total loony! She is trying to find fault
everywhere she can. So I am REALLY going to enjoy tomorrow!!!
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms here! Love, Mare |

I have no idea what Lee has planned for me tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I won't hafta cook our Sunday dinner. We were gonna go out to dinner and celebrate
Karl's birthday (which is actually on Monday the 12th), but decided against doing that since everybody under the sun will probably be taking their moms
out to dinner. We will however, be going to Outback Steakhouse for Karl's birthday on Monday.
If I don't get the chance to make a few compilation CD's tonight, I know that's what I'll be doing tomorrow.

I, personally, will be enjoying my last day of real 'vacation' before I start work on Monday!

The only thing that I have planned is to go to church. Without having a telephone to heaven I can't call my mother. Those of you who can - be thankful,
and be sure to do it. By the way, Pam how is your mother?

Today actually marks the 100th Mother's Day, first year of celebration was 1908.
Going to Six's sister's to see his folks for a very late lunch or very early supper; I'll be calling my mum and stepmum, too. I want to give shout-out kudos to all the moms out there who do all that's necessary to make for a happy, healthy homelife for their loved ones. Blessings on you! |

Thank you, Molly! And I want to express my appreciation to this board and everyone who has supported and encouraged me in this adventure called motherhood.
It was a long day for us. Because the dining room was so busy at my grandfather's place, our 1:00 brunch didn't take place until after 2:00. It was good, but I spent a lot of time running after the kids, who wolfed down their food since they were so hungry. Jacob made a guitar out of my carnation and sang "Mary, Mary" for all the residents. Little ham bone! Actually, this is probably the nicest time of my day-Daddy took the kids swimming and the house is quiet! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Here in Germany we celebrated Mother's Day this last Sunday as well. I remember when I was visiting Roo last year right before your Mother's Day, and I
saw all the ads everywhere and freaked out because I thought I had forgotten the day
