While it's not a small grocery store, it's probably the smallest store left in the area, as it's so hard to compete with the big corporate chains like Pick N Save, Festival, and of course Wal-Mart. There was a time when I was a kid when there were tons of smaller neighborhood grocery stores. No more. Shane Keep an eye out for Public Enemies!

Ours was built in the 80s. We have a couple of churches and our high school is less than a mile from me. Down the hill we have a gas station, Starbucks, a convenience store a Dunkin Donuts and a couple of banks. In our area what we have for grocery stores: Stop and Shop, A & P, Shoprite, Shaws , Big Y and Adams. When we go visit my sister in Ohio I get to go to her Krogers which I love! Too bad we don't have one in CT!
