Thanks for posting that link, Mare! It was really interesting to hear about how Fillipe got into Davy's band, and even though I couldn't understand
most of the drums talk, it was kind of cool to hear him talk about it anyway. I should send that link to a friend of mine who is a Monkees fan and also plays
drums. I wonder if she'll understand what he's talking about or not.

In the September 1, 2004 issue of Keeping Up with the Joneses, Davy wrote the following:
"Mr. Phillipe Torres joined us for our Canadian gig in North Bay and delighted us with his no less than perfect performance. He brought uncomplicated, exciting, superb refreshment to the show. Thanks Mr. Torres, you were great! Mind you after all he was directed by one of the best, Sandy Gennaro, even if it cost his dad half the bakery's profits once a week."

Interesting! Thanks for posting this. He says it is surprisingly demanding, and also that he has to be versatile.....
 Well that's Davy, all energy
and with an eclectic songlist - Monkees, Bdwy, and everything else Davy sings in a show.
