I don't think I'd ever read or even heard about this one before, and I especially liked it because it is so different than the usual interviews you might find these days. And yes-- he certainly was very candid indeed! I wonder if there's any way to see the original pictures that probably went with the article in the magazine. I noticed that the pictures from the Peter Tork article didn't show up in the online version either. I wonder why not. "Still treading the boards at age 46, Jones performs regularly in clubs, at Monkees conventions and recently made guest turns with the Brady Bunch stage show." I saw him in one of those Real Live Brady Bunch performances in New York back then (1992 or thereabouts)! It was awesome!!

I didn't know how to pay my electric bill; I didn't even know what it looked like. I didn't know how to go to the supermarket. I was lost until I got married again." I remember hearing about him getting in trouble in the news at one point - must have been during this time. I thought it was so sad he was hurting like that. And I was also mad that that would be reported, rather than anything good he had been doing. Thank heavens that he has completely outgrown these things, and that by now there certainly HAVE been much, much better news reports on him! Of course! Rachael
