Well Lee called Bubby's vet this morning hoping to speak with her....she was in surgery and was supposed to call him back but never did. So, as of right
now, we are thinkin of making an appointment for Bubby on Friday and then go from there. He's not really eating today........maybe his teeth really are
bothering him and that's why he's not wanting to eat??? His mouth/gums are still bleeding every now and then and he's still drooling. I feel so
helpless cuz I want to make him feel better but I dunno what to do to help him, ya know?
Bubby is a survivor, but I hafta wonder just how much more he will go on.

An appointment sounds like a really good idea,Cindy. It will hopefully answer your questions about Bubby's condition and what his problems are. It would
certainly put my mind at ease if I had a kitty in Bubbys position.

Thank you everybody. I hope Bubby will be alright, too. Otherwise, it will be a sad day in our household.
We just gave Bubby some fluids under the skin so we'll see how that helps him. It used to help...... OMG Angie............all of your kitties are, are, are....well, they make me go, "awwwwww"....... And the kittens, like everybody else has already said, what beautiful eyes! I'm so glad you shared your piccys. If you have any more, please do post them. 
Oops, I almost forgot to add a picture here of Milo taken tonight. LOL!

The words "Give Us A Wink" immediately come to my mind,Cindy. LOL.
How often do you give Bubby that shot under the skin? Angie wanted me to mention that she named the two black kittens. They are Gleeb and Fuzzy. And in the pile-up photo of the four cats,they are Baby Fangs,Halloween,Blackie and Tinkerbell.

Milo has a way of making me feel better when I'm feeling sad....he likes to give alot of little "love rubs" on my leg (rubbing his face against
my leg) and then he'll insist upon wanting to give me a hug. He's such a smart boy!
Lee was gonna take Friday off to take Bub to the vet. but it looks like everybody else at his work is taking Friday off or leaving early on Wednesday and Thursday. So now, his appointment is up in the air. He mentioned something to me about Friday briefly but before he could finish is sentence, the other line at work rang so he had to go answer it. Maybe he'll be able to leave early on Friday is what he was trying to tell me. *shrugs* I dunno. I'll keep ya'll posted..... Thank you all for caring. It means *alot* to Bub.

Bubby got all cleaned up tonight and Lee felt around in Bubby's mouth to see what could be causing it to bleed. He said Bubby is missing three bottom teeth
and that's what's bleeding.
Gonna try to schedule an appiontment for Bubby on the 20th....don't think I'll be able to make it so Lee will hafta go alone and fill me in. Thanx Ray for the wishes.

I'm saddened to say that tomorrow Bubby will be going to the Rainbow Bridge.
  
Today when I came home from work on my lunch break, I noticed that the side of Bubby's face was swollen. At first, I thought maybe it was his fur just
all puffed out. But when I wiped it down with a damp washcloth, I felt a bump under his jaw. The same side where he lost some teeth. This is not a good sign.
He was still bleeding blood as well. I decided to call and make an appointment for Bubby today. Left work at 3:30. His doctor told me that Bubby has a cancer
tumor growing and there is nothing that can be done because of where the cancer is at other than removing the bottom part of his jaw and she doesn't
recommend that. And that'as why he's having trouble pooping and why he's drooling. So at 9 tomorrow morning, Bubby will be greeted by Rockey,
Jack (Lily's real brother) and my mom's dog, Foo Foo at the Rainbow Bridge. *wiping tears away*

It's hard to be strong during all this. And it doesn't matter how much I prepare myself for one of my four legged children's death, it just doesn't get any easier. It seems to get harder and harder each time. I know tomorrow morning is gonna be thee hardest day of it all because I want Milo and Lily to say bye bye to Bub before he leaves. That's the part that's gonna kill me the most before we ever walk out the door. At least with this death, Lee will be coming with me and I won't hafta do it alone. But it's gonna be tough because neither one of us will be able to hold each other up.

Cancer is such a horrible disease. That would explain why the ulcers in Bubby's mouth wouldn't heal despite having medication for it. This would explain why Bubby was losing weight. This would explain why he was drooling and bleeding. This is breaking my heart!! I'm so glad Lee will goin with me as I don't think I'd be able to handle this on my own. It was hard enough to do with my gerbies, let alone Bubby who has spent the last 16 years with me. Now I'm gonna have nobody to beg for the cereal in my milk in the morning. And when I ask for a kiss, there won't be anybody to kiss my forehead the way Bubby always did by putting his lips on my forehead and keeping it there for a few seconds. It's 5 in the morning now.......and I am so very grief stricken.......
