Hmmm.... Looks like more research is on the horizon...
Meanwhile, I did watch part of "Monstrous Monkee Mash" last night to verify that
Peter indeed says "This is disgusting!" when he first sees the bat in the living room at Lorelei's house, but I guess the "Disgusting"
stands alone in the scene you're thinking of?

I think it might of been Davy in "Card Carrying Red Shoes"

I was thinking of "Card Carrying Red Shoes", too, after the "black trench coat" hint. But I just saw that episode, and I don't remember
anyone saying "disgusting". Of course, several times the guys are talking over each other in that episode.

Well, I watched both "Card Carrying Red Shoes" and the scenes featuring "The Foreign Agents" (who also wore black trench coats) from
"Find The Monkees" today, and I still haven't come across the "Disgusting" line.

I was watching "card carrying red shoes" myself last night lol. The only thing I can think of is Mike saying it in "monkees in texas"

Actually it was the assayer that said it in "Monkees in Texas" just after Mike gives him the jar of crude oil.

Whoa, sorry 'bout that guys. Yes "Disgusting" was a one word line. Another hint: "Vanessa Russell"

"Disgusting."
"Black trench coats." "Vanessa Russell." I'm so confused! Okay, Vanessa Russell was the girl in the pilot, right? I don't remember black trench coats in the pilot. I haven't seen that episode for several months, and I think that's one of the episodes I haven't been able to find on YouTube. This requires some thought.

Aha! The heavy-set dude at the beginning of the pilot who was being interviewed about bystanders not helping people! He said it! Am I right?

You are correct!!! DING DING DING DING! The "heavy-set dude" was Larry Tucker (Character name: Dr.
Lionel B. Turner) he was one of the developers of the show. Paul Mazursky (The Man on the Street Interviewer & Man in the Ballroom Interviewer) was the
other developer of the series. (just a little trivia for ya, folks)

YAY! I'm so happy (said in her best "Maid Marion from Robin Hood Men in Tights" voice)!
And yes, I'm also usually confused and bewildered. It's my natural state. New quote, new quote...*thinks too hard and sets off smoke detectors* "There won't be any Indians here, a ha ha ha."
