I'll probably wind up seeing it eventually. My brother-in-law is a big superhero fanatic, and sooner or later we're all subject to his DVD movie
preferences when he's visiting. I doubt I'll go to a theater to see it, though.

I saw the new Batman movie and it sure is alot of action. John liked it more than I did,but I thought it was a good movie. The only problem I have with the
whole thing is that the publicity department is REALLY overdoing Heath Ledger. Yes,Heath was great, but it kinda turns my stomach that they aren't trying to
sell this movie on the basis of the concept of the movie. They are mostly selling it on Heath Ledgers mythology. Yes,it was Heath's last film, but it seems
cheap to do that with his name.
I saw the advanced trailers for that film a few weeks ago and it was 90% Heath Ledger. I love Heath, but I just feel it's kinda sick for a studio to do that.

temporarily misplaced his wallet. That's a big part of the reason we're going back. So much of our Saturday there was killed because we were
stressing over the presumably lost credit cards. There's a lot we wanted to do that we couldn't get to because of that. I'm buying him a wallet
chain this time!

I probably won't be online (other than a quick email check, if that) for a few days because tomorrow through Sunday, I'll be going to bed and getting
up early to go down to Comic-con.

Natalie, what play will you be in? What part do you have?
Shane, that was distressing news about your step-dad's wallet I'm sure! But a relief when it was found no doubt! Did you find it intact? I went to Lincoln Park Zoo last year with my boys and others - well a nice day we had, but on the way back to the car I discovered I had lost my keys! Or so I thought....we retraced most every step and place we sat down, only to find they were locked into the car there, in the parking lot Thank heavens nobody
noticed that and broke in to steal the car, whew! A window was even left cracked open - but that proved to be a blessing, because my oldest son found a small
branch/twig long enough to reach the ignition, and swooped those keys right off and out. A nice day turned sour for a minute, lol. Glad you and I both had a
happy outcome to the problem.

Oh yes, Rachael, my stepdad forund the wallet in tact. Underneath the bed in the hotel room. Where we had looked at least 5 times before and had missed it. It
was uncanny. He said something like "Wouldn't it be funny if I reached down here and there it would be". Well, I'm not sure how funny that
was....not after he spent a good chunk of the day on the phone cancelling credit cards and running around filling out police reports. We can laugh about it
now, but it wasn't amusing at the time. I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that doesn't happen again!

Maybe that's just how bad it was to begin with. (The only french fries I like at all are the big fat soft ones with ridges.)
