I wish I could stay motivated,I am almost gonna give up on my workout dvd's. The great weighted workout with Karen Voight has you moving your lower body as
you work your upper body and I can't seem to keep in time with it or i can't co-ordinate my body to do that.

You know, I was so good about exercising but have lost the motivation! I am still watching what I eat very carefully but I am at a standstill with losing. I
guess I should be glad I'm not gaining and probably getting healthier but I feel guilty..
I don't eat as much red meat, eat a salad every day, am trying to cut out so much bread and am eating NO sweets! I used to be able to lose weight that way alone but now at 53 I think my metabolism is slowing down. I have the next two days off, so maybe I can talk myself into getting back on that darned treadmill! |

well my ballet pictures could give people inspiration... inspiration to not let what happened to me happen to them.
Mare55, you should frequent this site: www.dance.net It is the most inspiring website for dancers, etc... I just love it and it has inspired me so much. You don't have to be a member to lurk the boards either. I was a lurker for months before joining My profile on there is begstretcher2008 which stands for beginning stretcher 2008 You are never too old to dance. I changed my avatar to a dancing one because that is where my inspiration is at
right now in my life.

Do you mean your blood pressure meds made you gain weight? I am not awake yet. I have heard that they do that.

Back in April they changed my Meds because I didnt like the dry cough with the prescription I had and then I gained 15-20 lbs with no other explanation. I
would rather have the cough I think.
It's also tough dealing with Army Docs too. They woud rather prescribe rather than fully diagnose. "It is not the critic who counts: not the man who points out

Today I hopped onto the treadmill for the first time in MONTHS (cursed lack of gym memberships!). It HURT. I ran MAYBE a fifth of the time I was on it, but
darn it, I feel accomplished. I kept going back and forth between running and walking a steady pace, and by the end I'm sure I was disgusting to anyone
around me
