Since it's almost that time of the year when children and adults go out and dress up then go trick or treating, I was wondering if anyone else will be
dressing up as this year. Me, I am going as a dark jedi from Star Wars this year. Being a hippie 2 years in a row is getting dull lol.

Well if I ever find a decent cat costume, I'd love to be a cat. I've just not found the right one for me yet. So I think I will just be a hippie again
this year. I found a really cool pair of hippe looking jeans at the thrift store last weekend. The only problem is that it is a size too small. I paid $1.77
for them instead of their listed price of $4.88 so I couldn't resist and was hoping that I would be able to fit into them. *sighs* I have another pair of
jeans that will work, but it's not what I want to wear. Plus, I need for Lee to take off the patches from my other jeans and sew them onto these other pair
for me.

It's been years since I've dressed up for Halloween. My neighborhood kind of sucks for trick-or-treating traffic, plus I have to spend part of my
morning next Saturday working required OT on what would normally be a Saturday off, anyway.
I was reading in the paper that the local Goodwill and resale shops are reporting an increased demand for vintage "zoot" suits and fedoras. Gosh, I just can't imagine why.... I'll probably sneak over to my Mom's house so I can see what my nephew Corey looks like in his tiger costume. While this is the second year he's been dressed up on Halloween, this is the first one that he's really grasping what it's all about. Last year's attempt at being a dinosaur kind of turned out badly for him. Other than that, I'll just probably line up some favorite movies to watch. I imagine Rocky Horror will get a spin or two this week. Shane

As far as I know, we're doing Halloween at work on Friday, so I'll be dressing up then- and then again on Saturday when I'm heading to my
brother's house and then to a shag afterwards. For those of you who think "shag" sounds dirty- it's a T-Bay term for a big fundraising party
for an engaged couple.
However, I'm keeping my costume a secret until Halloween!

Actually I like the curly hair, Petey. And it's darker, also.

I'll be dressing as a pirate and, as usual, hanging out in Salem, MA for Halloween.

For the first time ever, mostly because (while it is gaining popularity) we don't really 'do' Halloween in Australia, I am going to dress up as a
hippy for Halloween. My choir's annual trivia night is going to be Halloween themed, because of the date we're having it.

We don't do halloween either here in The Netherlands, but as Hermione sad, it is also becoming popular to throw Halloweenpartys in pubs and clubs here and
there. Not the "trick or treat'" thing.
In februari however, we celebrate Carnaval as we call it. We dress up in hilarious costumes for four days, have parades and partys....and a lot of... Last year I was wearing a witch dress with big hat and all and a glitter glam outfit as well, my husband had a Jack Sparrow outfit. We have a closet full of fun stuff to wear, wigs and all sorts of silly things collected over the years. This is a pic from last year at a party with some friends of mine, I'm the loony one on the left with the pink boa. Eva.

Very cute picture, Eva! I have an ex-pat friend who lives in NZ and she's throwing a Halloween party for all the other Yanks (and Kiwis) who want to get
their scare on.
Usually I dig out my Detroit Tigers cap and jersey and pass out candy as "Tom the Baseball Fan".

I've got on my Monkees t-shirt, sweatshirt and earrings that Petey made so I can offically tell my kids I'm dressed up as a Monkees fan. Big stretch,
I know.

I thought I'd add a few of my nephew Corey. Last year's attempt at Halloween ended in tears, but as you can tell, he obviously was a bit more ready
for it this year.
