(If that last paragaph is confusing, please understand that I'm about 6 episodes ahead in writing the reviews--I post them here at decent intervals so I don't spam the forum.  I'm actually working on Monkees Marooned right now.)

That means my favorite episode is still 9 or 10 away...

As for Monkees at the Movies: It's one of my faves, also. Bobby Sherman plays the spoiled star very well, and even his hair is hilarious (especially when Davy's sporting it!). The "Mr. Kramm" and "Yes Mr. Kramm" directors' chairs represents one of the more subtle and clever gags in the series, IMO. Even the name of the film they're producing, "I Married a Creature from Out of Town" is worth a chuckle. I like how Davy is cracking up while singing "I Really Love You" for the umpteenth time. And even though Sherman is officially listed as 5'9", he looks closer to Davy's height than the rest of the Monkees in some scenes.

And I'm not sure how, but "He's no Davy Jones!" has made it into my lexicon over the past 30 years or so. I'll bet I say it at least once a month, whenever I'm comparing musicians, athletes, politicians, pretty much anyone! Then again, there are way too many Monkee-isms in my everyday language!
