Bob,
I'm interested in this topic as well...I ordered it on the 12th, received it on the 18th... So far I've listened to disc one all the way thru and am liking the set so far... Mine is # 3175...
If I could change one thing about it, I would have had the original LP on two discs, mono version on one, stereo version on another... Don't get me wrong I like the first album and listen to it all the way thru, but back to back on the same disc is a bit much, at least in my opinion... Also, it's surprising how many versions there are of "I Wanna Be Free": It's an okay song, but I would guess there must have been something else they could have possibly included instead... Still, I'm glad to have this deluxe edition and hope they continue on with "More of..." and "Pisces, Aquarius..." I'd include "Headquarters" in there too, but do you think they'd do it again after having released the deluxe "Headquarters Sessions" set? If they do "Headquarters", I hope they'd really have something new they could add to it, but at this point I can't see what it'd be... The biggest factor in if I'd buy a deluxe version of "Headquarters" would be any new/bonus material: If it'd be a straight reissue of "Headquarters Sessions", I'd probably pass because at that point I'd only be buying it for the box... I say that, but I know I would end up buying it to have the box so it'd match with the other deluxe sets, lol...
