If you had a choice and could get DJ on a current TV show or shows, which ones would he be on? As a guest or regular. I would like to see him do a serious role on Law & Order SVU, Dr Who, Eureka, Lost? possibly Desparate Housewives, Entourage.Then what role?

Law and Order (any of the shows in the series) as a policeman or a judge. I doubt he has ever played those roles before. Crossing Jordan as a Medical Examiner. I want to see him in a really serious role.

Grey's Anatomy, CSI, any of the Law & Orders. I agree with you, I think he would be great in a dramatic role.

Gosh, I don't get to see any of those shows, but I agree it would be cool to see him in a dramatic role. He would have to be a regular, what fun is a guest star (cheap tease if you ask me).
Maybe an Investigator on CSI, a Doctor on ER.....anything, just get him on TV!!! How about creating a show for him: Medical examiner on an updated version of Quincy or a Lawyer like Matlock. Oh oh, a private detective like Mannix set current day - danger, intrigue, new love interest in every show? ~LuAnne |

If Blackie (John Stamos) can be a doctor, which he currently is, then David certainly could. He could be a perfect boyfriend in a witch type situation, with his cute little "Oh" when anything witchy happens, also.

He'd be a good guest judge on the next season of American Idol. After all, he knows what it's like to be one. As far as I know, there haven't been any Monkees tunes tackled on AI yet, and there are many that would work well.

I would love to see him on House, M.D. as a patient, like a major character in the plot line. None of those cases that you see for only a few seconds or minutes being examined in the doctor's office by House.

Actually, I would like to see DJ be a retired Detective or a PI on Law & Order SVU and he has an affair with Olivia, and she all most gets killed cause of it. On Dr Who an alien or some historical figure who makes a terrible discovery of an alien invasion. and the DR. helps get rid of them. or Desparate Housewives as one of the womens father who is a womanizer and who is out to have all the women on that show. On ntourage as a movie exective with a movie fro Vincent. On Eureka as a Mad Scientist who is out for revenge.

Well, Flavor Flave sure made it big on VH1 lookin for a woman...and I know there would be plenty of response if they did a show like Flavor of Love with Davy. It could be....Monkee Love....or Jonesin with Davy....or you know, anything.

It would be nice for him to do Broadway, but that would mean he would be stuck in one place, for a length of time, and would have to cut his concerts, and I am not that fond of NYC, cause its expensive, not to fly there to get a hotel. I am not even great in going to downtown Chicago(3 mill), and NYC(8 mill) is twice to triple the amount of people. If he does TV everyone can enjoy him, even the fans who can't get to a concert.

I am a New Yorker and just love the city. There is no other
city like it. As for hotels there are hotels you can get cheap rates at. I think David mentioned a couple of years ago he was thinking of doing a play but it would have taken up so much of his time. It is true if he would do Broadway he would have to stay here a certain amount of time. I have noticed thru the past couple of years he doesn't do as many solo shows as he did in the past. It can be very tiring on a person like him who has been in the business since he was a teenager. If David did appear on a TV again he would be so much better in comedy. He has the perfect timing for it along with a great sense of humor |

I could go into the NYC thing but I won't
 He could go into comedy on TV, but I would like to see him do drama, a serious role, where he plays a character, not himself. For comedy Desparate Housewives, as either one of the women's womenizing Uncle or Father(no women would be safe)As long as he plays a character.

I do think it's a good idea not to go into the New York City thing.
, comedy, drama he has done it all. Having himbe a guest judge on American Idol would be something different. David is a man of many talents and all I wish him is happiness.

I think I heard or read Davy say in an interview recently that he wouldn't want the pressure, demanding schedule and daily commitment of being in a Broadway show at this point in his life. I'd love to see him in something though, if he changed his mind! I don't really watch much contemporary TV at all, so I don't know what current TV show I would put him in. I generally don't like any of the so-called "reality" shows, but TVLand did a great job with their portrait of him for Inside TVLand! (Was that what it was called, or am I getting the show he did mixed up with something else?) Wasn't TVLand supposed to do something else with Davy, too?
