They wonderfully appeared in, I believe October of 1977 at Big Daddys in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It was standing room only, and what I can recall from this concert was that Mickey opened up with a song and playing the drums. Have no clue what the song was. I do remember Davy singing, "I Want To Be Free." Boyce and Hart performed together and with Mickey and Davy. Now, could someone please tell me, I believe, not sure, but Mickey's sister was singing back-up. Was that possible. I think I remember him introducing her, or was I dreaming? Thanks! I know that she toured with Jones and Dolenz in the 70's, so that really isn't too far fetched. Don't know for sure though. A little bit before my time, unfortunately. I was 13, and my friends and I saw them in the summer of '77 in a seashore restaurant/nightclub called Tony Mart's, which was in the same spot where Harrahs' Hotel & Casino now stands in Atlantic City, NJ (my hometown). Actually, that was in Brigantine, which is right over a short little bridge from Atlantic City. My friends and I managed to get RIGHT up at the front of the stage, and I'd borrowed my older brother's camera. We're screaming and singing along, having a wonderful time, and Micky was right in front of me. I raised my bro's camera to take his picture - and it jammed. Totally jammed! I looked at it, literally blinked at it a couple of times, and then burst into these loud, horrified tears! Which, because we were smack in the front, Micky noticed! The look on his face was priceless, because he glances down and gives me this quick look of concern like, "Oh, my God, is that kid being killed or something?" Looking back on it, it was pretty funny in a way!
