I can't stop listening to "If I Ever Get to Saginaw Again" (Nez on vocals) or my Bon Jovi or Nez' stuff and Monkees music...weeeee... I'm hyper!

There's a real simple reson for that, Nora. Screen Gems couldn't obtain the publishing rights for it. It was written by somebody outside of their "stable" of writers, and the original publisher refused to sell the rights.
But you're right, it's an awesome song. Definitely hit material. |

Flatscreen Tvs are selling like crazy here and they say it's because fans want to watch the Steelers vs Broncos on Sunday and feel like they're there.
They said on the news that some of those flatscreens cost around $1,500 to $5,000. Wish I had that kind of cash to throw around on a Tv just to watch one game and feel like I'm there. |

 Which I cannot afford anyway. Me and changes? Not a good combination. I think none of our football matches of the highest league ever start before 15:30 on saturdays. And sundays and fridays they start even later. And German football players are wusses (is that the plural of wuss?) anyway. We have winter break right now. Well good evening all!
I'm just sitting here catching up on posts and such while I wait for the load of laundry to finish drying. Then the fun job of putting away all those stupid clothes. And while I'm here, I might as well say that I hate the carpeting in my house because it shows everything! Especially here on the first floor coming in from the garage.  I bought one of those Swiffer Flickers and they don't work worth a crap. So I will hafta vacuum again tonight. Grrrrr!!!! The mess on the carpet is from my son's socks....all black fuzzy's. Drives me crazy!Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now.     |

As my hubby says, there'd be a lot less laundry if I'd let him be a nudist If it's any consolation, you're in good company. I've been doing laundry all day.My hubby is going skiing for a week. He might come home mid-week and bring the rest of us up for a day, but we'll see how the baby's doing, since he's been sick. I say the hubby owes me one of those spa days. Do I hear an amen? Nora |
