I almost forgot that back in August of 05 when my computer got zapped and I couldn't get online until a month ago,I was going to show my feelings for that computer...

And thankfully, I have my last load in the dryer (it's only throw rugs). Now I'm just waiting for the hard bolied eggs to get done so I can put it in our salad that we're having for dinner in just a bit...... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Now I know how John Lennon felt when he became a 'House-Husband' in 1975. I mean,I do my work on the computer,so I work at home, while Chrissy works 45 minutes away.
It's up to me to throw laundry on,make sure supper's on the table and clean up. Sure I get the kids to help, but it's a role reversal regardless. |

This is why I hate Saturdays in my world. I try and shove too much of that housekeeping stuff into one day. After working my "real job", then all the laundry, shopping, cleaning...it makes me dead tired. I'm ready to drop right now.
At least it's done (for another week). |

Quote: I had a 65 Rambler! I loved that car. Too bad I drove it without oil and blew the engine. My poor Dad. I always joke with my husband that the Rambler was my dowry. All he had when we got married was a motorcycle. Chris "I have wondered if I am trying to force a life. While the life I lead may not match the picture in my head, perhaps the one offered me is just as full of joy, its pigments just as bright, just not what I expected."

Respect Your Elders
I love sometimes to talk to older people myself. Unfortunately, in my busy life, I do not make enough time for them. I will go to a funeral of a woman who was 87 who lived in my neighborhood and lived a busy life. |

Wow, Sotet...that had me in tears! I clean a 68 year old house every month. And I call her every weekend to see how she is doing. We can learn alot from our elders, I think.

Awwww.........why thank ya, Nora! And you know I can say thee same thing about you, too!
On another note, I'm a bit concerned because one of my gerbils got into a fight with one of his brothers (dominance issues) and Squirt ended up getting hurt bad. Both his back legs are swollen. The last time Squirt and Max got into it, Squirt's right arm got injured and swollen. He healed, but this time, he's not looking all the great. I've been giving him anti biotics and I think I'm gonna try putting ice on his legs to help relieve the swelling. Poor thing is just hobbling around and not doing much. I had to split tank him away from Max. He lived with his two other brothers-Max and Teddy. Now Max lives alone. ![]() Squirt, Max and Teddy are in the tanks on the chairs. The 10 gallon tanks are the gerbils "playground" which is connected to a 20 gallon tank where they sleep and dig tunnels. Here is a piccy of my little Squirt- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I've had a Kitchen Sink once--it was a gigantic ice cream concoction at the Beaches 'n Cream at the Boardwalk Inn at Disney World. If you were able to eat it all in one sitting, you got your name on their website. I never was able to finish it though. Someday, man, someday...

Nah, it's not so complicated at all. I put their names on every tank so I know who goes where. It's no fun cleaning all those tanks, I will say that. I spend about 2 hours of my time every other day on the gerbils. I let them out and run around in their exercise ball for about an hour and while they are rolling around, I clean out the top tanks and refill the bottom ones with empty food boxes and paper towel or toilet paper rolls. Then of course, once I put them back into their homes, I hafta wash all those exercise @#%$, sweep and mop the kitchen floor and vacuum the house. It's a chore! As for my little Squirt I dunno if his foot is broken or just sprained. Here is what his injured foot looks like-
