I want to share some tips about keeping your PCs clean of malware / viruses/ trojans / spyware and other things that can make your PC life a big pain.
If you are in a jam and cannot successfully get rid of something malicious on your PC no matter how many long it may take.
All these forums have knowledgeable people who can assist you in a time of crisis, it may take them some time to respond as it is volunteer and most of all free advice!

I recently had to remove some malicious malware from my own PC and I was successful, but some help came along. I hope you do not have go through this, but just in case. The malware online has become more and more vicious, as Ray mentioned recently, too, I know of some that wipe out hard drives and can make even new computers unusuable and worst of all, your valuable data or logins could be stolen resulting in identity theft (phishing). I found these sites by googling the problems I have had in the past.

castlecops.com - this one is my own favorite of this type: great active forum site for PC security. Very friendly folk there. They also have some good tips on securing your computer. I would recommend going to Castlecops if you do not know or if you need more of the recommended anti-spyware, firewalls, malware removal programs on your PC, if you are on broadband it is even more important to get secured and lock down your system best you can.
