I'm new though My username is actually v for vegetarian and kitty...... Kitty as in Kitty Pryde is where it comes from originally I used to watch the cartoon X-men Evolution when it first aired and I always thought her name was cool. So I started using it as a user name....I'm not big on X-men at all now. (I'm a DC fangirl to tell you the truth) I've always liked the name though....it was kind of tough to remember where I got it.

It was given to me by Bettina way back in 2001 or 2002. I earned it because at the time I was making people jealous with my many concert reviews and "encounters" with Peter. And contrary to popular belief my name is not Linda it's Julie or Jules for short. "Lucky Linda" comes from a song that I can't remember the name of at the moment. It's sung by Micky and the line is "I'm gonna get lucky with Lucky Linda". I find it very fitting. "I like eggs in the morning and bacon at night. It says "Ken Konnect". While I don't know when it was given to me, I think I know how I got it. In the games part of the forum, there's a thread about how many degrees of separation to the Monkees where a celebrity name was given and you have to figure out how to get from that performer to at least one of the Monkees. In that thread, most of my answers mentioned Ken Foree (best known as Peter Washington in the 1978 version of "Dawn of the Dead" and as Roger Rockmore on "Kenan and Kel") which actually wound up becoming a little bit of a joke in the thread about how I'd connect to Ken.

I know that you've had it for a while and just checked to discover that you originally received it way back at the beginning of August. At the time I was wondering how long it would take you to notice. I guess now we know! (And it took me over a month to discover that you finally noticed, too!) Btw, I don't remember if I've ever posted on this thread before, but I got my first ickle name, "Mistress of the Marathon" when I was working on typing out and posting transcripts of the 24-hour Monkees radio marathon that was broadcast a couple of years ago. Tammy (Monkeegroupies), Jen (Pickwickian) and I all became the "Mod Squad" almost a year ago when Mare (davidshoney) "retired" as moderator of the Davy Jones forum, and we all teamed up to become the new Davy forum co-mods.
