Thanks,everyone for making me feel so welcome !Am pretty new to computing so may have to take you up on your offers of help sometimes.
I started my Monkee collection in 1966 with my fan club necklace and now I'm on line there's all this great stuff I want to get ! Have already sent some orders to Videoranch which Nez kindly signed for me [ oh, I think I'm in heaven !] Would like to join VR3D next,pity about the time difference.The good stuff doesn't start till 2 in the morning here. |

Hi Zelah! Great place here! I'm first gen Monkees fan too, a Micky fan. 
Rose said: "I was hoping I wasn't annoying anyone with how I just kind of jumped right in there." That's what I did!  Just jumped right into the mix, 2 yr ago.....hey, well, Rose, it is just because we were so exited to see the other fans are alive
and kicking! So of course we'll have lots to say and contribute, being fans ourselves. I also think it's pretty neat how we can still keep up
with where the guys will be performing, and plan to see them....and then meet others from the board here, too!

Thank you Rose. I love unicorns and I wanted one and didn't know how to do it, or have any to put. Ray helped me out. He gave me several choices and I
chose that one so he put it on for me. I don't know if you've met him here, yet. He goes by Jonesounds. He is very ill at this time, but we all hope
he will be back soon.

Rose, you may want to check out a thread in the Monkeeshines forum titled, "Just wanted to let everyone know" or something like that. That is where Ray first told us about his illness and where his daughter, Angie (who is also a member here and goes by the username MadamButterfly) has given us updates on his condition. Ray is a great guy and has always had a lot to offer to the board here, and Angie is great too. We all miss Ray's presence here and have been praying for him for a complete recovery and wishing the best to him and his family. |
