It didn't work for Cyrano either," even though the same character had said 2 scenes earlier in the show: "It worked great for Cyrano De Bergerac!" I hope that helps! [Edit -July 5th: After watching the episode yet again, I realized that he actually says "it worked great in Cyrano de Bergerac" --meaning the book, I guess, which makes more sense, because I guess it worked for the guy he was trying to help (I can't remember his name) but not for poor Cyrano himself!] *Quote:* "I like Hot Dogs!" Is that Peter in "99-Pound Weakling?" I won't post a new one, because I'm hoping someone will come up with an answer for my old one this time!

I don't know about anyone else, but yeah, I've been totally stymied by that one and have been trying to watch as many Monkees episodes as I can since I read that quote (which hasn't been many, as I've been quite busy lately) in the hope that I'd stumble across the answer! Now that I know which episode it's from I'll try to watch it and let you know whether it was Micky or Davy. I was hoping somebody would be able to get the episode for this one, but it's been almost a full 24 hours since your post and no one else has taken the bait, so here's what I hope will be a more obvious clue, as promised. For much of this episode (the same one), another Monkee is uncharacteristically quiet but does manage to come out with, "Now crayon I can say!" Who was it and which episode do both quotes come from?
