Nora Paperback writer Amazing Grace New Admin Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Petey and I were thinking of adding a few things to the "Creative Corner", such as places for character profiles, etc. We'd like some input from you all, our wonderful contributors, on how we could make this forum more helpful to you! Would you like to see threads where you could receive help with story ideas or have a grammar question answered? We'd like for everyone who is even remotely thinking about contributing to feel comfortable doing so, and would like to try and make this forum as supportive as possible. I realize this mostly has to do with written creativity but for all you visual arts people, we are very open to suggestions from you, too! So please let us know...how can we help? Are we writing as extensions of episodes, making up our own episodes or just take things we see from our own lives and putting stories in around the Monkees? How often are stories to be updated? Must we update them in a week or month? What is the time frame? I'm not a professional writer. I write with some "creative help" from my friend. As to your other questions - the writing should be about the Monkees from the tv show (as opposed to the guys in real life). Keep the stories clean as we have an membership of many ages. The only rules are at the top of the forum, mostly just keep it a family thing and if you include the Monkees it is to be the TV Monkees not the private lives or current guys themselves. Mainly once you start a story everyone is anxious to read more. So the more often you write the better. We are happy to have you and your stories here. Sally B.

Would you please clarify what you consider inappropriate? Absolutely no swearing, or is one or two mild words in a scene okay in the context of extreme shock/anger? Is a scene suggesting sex without any details allowed? I hope you don't have any ideas that I've written "Deep Throat" starring The Monkees! I just don't want to offend anyone. I want to be careful not to conflict with anyone's upcoming "release date" (Beatle fans, think of "McCartney" coming out within days of "Let It Be") or if they have an ongoing story like Nora and LuAnne.
