In case you were wondering what the heck we're talking about, here's a quick dictionary of our wacky and unique Monkeeland Lingo.


Coolnez--Used to indicate that something is extra-cool, especially something Nez-related.

First Generassic--Refers to the period in which first Gen fans discovered the Monkees. The olden days. The early years. Back in the day.

Floofy, floopy, floofiness, floopiness--refers to something yummy.

Fraak--Used in chat. It means "I'm back!"

Harmony Hut--This is the place Ma sends those who tend to forget
we're a FAMILY board. The Peter Tork speedo pic is a permanent
resident of the HH and you'll often find Feef in there drooling
in front of the pic.

Ickle--A cutesy word meaning "small."

Ickle name--a cutesy phrase referring to the custom title some of the "regulars" have been given. Look under my name there, I'm the Princess of Jonesy. That's my ickle name. See?

Jeffgeddis--means thankyou. I don't know why, ask Roo. Also, "Geddis?" means "get it?" Geddis? Goddis. Good.

Lala-less--This indicates when Angela (stmatthew), or Lala as
well call her, forgets her password, or is otherwise not
around...as in "Have you seen Lala today? No? I guess we're
Lala-less again!"

Monkilee--of the Monkees, as in "MG is Monkilee deprived."

Nezmerized--like mesmerized, only cooler. Mesmerized by Nez.

Nezscape--Another name for the popular browser, and also the user name of our favorite Dad.

Nezperience--If you're listening to tropical campfire's and you suddenly become aware that the world is filled with beauty and love, you've had one of these. If you're reading LSHONZ and you get inspired to write a poem about a desert sunset, you've had one of these. If you've been listening to Tantamount to Treason and you start to think maybe the Universe originated in Dallas, Texas, you've had a Nezperience.

Nezphoria--what happens after a Nezperience, of course.

Nezucate--to educate someone about Nez

Nezucated--knowledgeable about all things Nez. For example: Chris helped me to become nezucated by sending me Elephant Parts.

Nezucation--the process of learing about Nez. example: Chris is helping me in my nezucation when she sent me Elephant Parts.

Nezzed--what happens when somebody gifts you with Nez music or videos. ex: "I got Nezzed this Christmas" or "Chris Nezzed me this year."

Nezzing--reading/watching/listening to anything by or about Nez,
as in "I'm sorry I didn't return your e-mail sooner, I was
Nezzing."

Phantastic--Fantastic, only more fun.

piffed--A state somewhere between slightly miffed and really pissed.

Scareful--Well, scary.

Snezzes--Nez visions that only occur after a good loud sneeze

Snezzing-- This word has a few meanings.
1) Sneezing while imitating Nez
2) Sneezing like Nez (although, personally, I don't know if Nez sneezes different to the rest of us, but he must right, cause he's Nez
3) An uncontrolable outburst of Nezness

Soapy--When things get too dramatic, you could say they are soapy.

Spotte--used in chat. It means "I'll be right back."

Webe--Welcome back! Sometimes WEBEBEBEBE! if we get really excited.

Wonky--When something ain't workin' right, it's wonky.

@--the bothersome chat frodis eye. Always followed by "Ack" and "Have some frodis."
