Over the time that I've been a member here, there are several of you that have come to mean the world to me. And it seemed time that I let some of you know, and let the board know these things.
Lucy- You know what you have meant to me, and still do. You are the only person that I've told everything that happened to me, and much to my surprise, you still like me. Thank you.
Missy- You are the reason that I made my way to this board. Ok so it was Fritty, but still if it wasn't for you and your cat, Id still be picking on you at Happy Trails. I almost adopted you until I found out that you have a dad (not just a father) that cares about you, and loves you. Having parents that give a flying @#%$ about you is a greater gift then I could ever give you, and yet I owe you so much. If I survive and get married again, you will have to be at the wedding, because it just wouldn't be right to do something like that in the eyes of God without you there.
Petey- Believe it or don't, you have done more then you will ever know to keep me centered. When you start dating (and you'd best wait until your 35) Id be delighted to be the one to screen anyone that feels worthy of going out with you.
Laura- For some reason I always think of the Christopher Cross song "Hey Laura" when thinking about you lately. It's a real sad song about a girl that kills herself. I pray that no one plays this song about you. Yes that's a religious reference, but my God is more powerful then any lack of God.
Hay- Dear child, I hope that one day, someone will be able to convince you just how special you are to the world. You don't know it, but that first email you sent me saved my life that day. I was all set to leave the library, go home and end it all. There was no other thought in my mind and at the time I was at peace with the world and had blocked everything else from my mind. But just knowing that you needed me, and how you look at me saved my life that night. There are a whole lot of people that want to thank you for saving me. BTW there are several young boys at my favorite gun shop that think you're gorgeous. Ok ok, so there all right wing gun owners (or future gun owners), but so many of them are a young version of me, and as soon as you turn 35, Ill give them your email address.
Dani- For God's sake be proud of who you are! I know what you've done to show the world what you're capable of, here and at your board. Yes I visit there, but haven't posted. That and I read all of your trials and tribulations at work, and commend you for that. Believe it of not, when hiring at the stadium, anyone that had a job at a place like McDonalds for over a year, was someone that stood a great chance of being hired. I also know people that work for smaller places like IBM, and Microsoft that look for the same thing. If you want me to list all the positive things I know about you, let me know. It will be an easy thing to do.
Jailyn- My Pooh buddy. In case I forget, remind me to send you copies of all the Pooh videos I have. Between you and my godsons, I feel the need to go on an "expedition". I have criteria for any woman I become involved with, and one of the big things has to do with Pooh. For no other reason, you, and that Christmas card will always remind me of that.
I know that I'm missing a lot of you, and I do apologize for that. My intent is to let you all know just how much you all mean to me, regardless of what happens.
*plays Garth Brooks song "The Dance" and hopes it doesn't come to that, but knows that it will*
