Has anyone else noticed that some of the emoticons don't seem to be working tonight? I hope this is temporary, but for example, when I tried to post a :wave (wave), it just showed up as a red x in a white box, and when I checked the emoticons list there seemed to be a few red xes taking the place of the regular emoticons. I even noticed that some :huggle s (huggles) that I had put into a previous post had disappeared and were replaced by a horizontal line in a rectangular box. :help

(In the preview of this post, my :wave and :huggle both showed up as I described as well. I'll be curious to see if they eventually appear if and when this problem gets fixed.)

I have also noticed in general since we switched to Yuku that if you use an emoticon by typing the : and the word I.D., such as :giggle (: giggle -- except without the space, of course), it will work in your original post, but if you try to edit that post later, the emoticon will disappear, and you'll just see the : and the word you typed in the edited post instead. I've sometimes been able to get around that problem by clicking the edit box without previewing the post first. Sometimes the emoticons stay in the post when I do it that way, but not always, and they always disappear if I preview it first. I will usually see the emoticons in the preview box, but then they don't show up in the actual post after I click "edit." Anyone have any idea why this happens or if there's any way to fix it? I have noticed that this does not happen if I added the original emoticons by clicking on them -- only when they were put in by typing.
