Hi, I am new and I adore the Monkees! I just saw Davy on 3/8/08 in NYC, with my family. Hope to get to know everyone here! I am so glad I found this site.

i also would like to know. i'd love to go but it's just a little too far for me. i've spent alot on concerts lately too so i'm trying to space
things out. if anyone does go would you be so kind to take pictures and videos and post them here? peter is my favorite
 i hope i can make a show one day!

in the Hello Forum, but I saw Davy on March 8th too. It was an awesome show, wasn't it?

Hi! Thanks for the replies. We had a busy couple of weeks. Well, we went! I took some pics. The theater was really strict with photos and videos =(. During the
show Peter said he is aware of the house rules but he wanted us to know that as far as he and the band are concerned, take as many pics and videos as we'd
like.
The show was awesome! He performed all the blues songs that we are familiar with from his website and some Monkees songs ! We had 3rd row seats to the left and he was on the left so it was great. My DD a young girl yelled out "We love you Peter!" after he did Auntie Grizelda!!! He stopped what he was doing, looked right at her and smiled and pointed to her and the put his hand on his hips. It was wonderful! She loves Peter and is a Monkees fan since age 2 and she teared up when he sang Auntie Grizelda.. I love all 4 of the Monkees and it was great to see Peter Tork.. The music was beyond awesome. If you haven't seen his band, you must go! The guitar playing is incredible. Just too great for words. His band members make it look so easy. Peter played Daydream Believer and said he gets a thrill from that since he is the piano player on the original recording. It brought tears to my eyes. The band is funny and very entertaining. After the show he sold CD's and signed them. Taking the time to autograph each one, and anything else you brought for him to sign. He spoke to each and everyone of us and took photos with everyone who had a camera. He had a wonderful conversation with my daughter and he was thrilled that he had such a young fan. I hated to leave. He is like an old friend. I will upload some pics to a Flickr account and post them for you soon. Please email Patchogue Theater or call and ask them to have him again and try to come. Does anyone have an email for Peter besides thedailypanic? LMBT Yes Davy's show was unbelievable! I was so impressed and thrilled. I took a million pictures and cried when he sand Daydream Believer. I couldn't believe that I was seeing him sing it! Let me know if you go next time he comes around. I'm so glad you and your daughter had such a great time. Peter and the guys in SSB are all great guys and such fun to see in concert (and to talk to afterwards). Sounds like it was a wonderful evening!!

i love hearing everyone elses concert experiences! but it makes me sad....i hope i can get to see the guys in concert....one day! i've been a fan since i
was 5 and they'll always have a special place in my heart. i'm not someone who's easily starstruck but i think i'd probably pass out if i ever
did get to meet them in person. i've loved them for sooooo long! i look forward to your pix monkeelove!!

writing on them, only because it is a public album, so no one steals them. But if anyone here wants the photos just lmk

I read your concert review real quick and want to read it again. Thanks for posting. I was there way in the back! But I could see just fine. How nice that you noticed that I am 2 Monkees down, one more to go. It is strange how I didn't see any of them and now almost all 3 in a months time! You are so right! =) Unfortunately the weather is not looking good for Micky. It is outside and it looks like it is going to rain and thunder all day in NJ! =( We must let one another know when we are going to be where..so we can get board pics. I am so glad I found this site! Thanks for letting me jump in. =) |

 We went to Micky! I took over 200 pictures, we stood side stage but he came over to
the sides a few times. We met Coco and chatted with her after the show. I will post the details later, I guess on the Micky board? I will put his photos up
with Davy and Peter on the flickr and post them here. I am just so so thrilled. I saw Micky Dolenz sing I'm a Believer! We met him after the show and got
his autograph on our CD and photo we bought there. Thrilling. Glad I can share, thanks for listening! Oh Mike..where are you? lol

Wow, what a great month for you, MonkeeLove! I know it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon on Sunday after all, and I'm so glad that you were able to
pull off your 3-in-a-row Monkee Marathon Month and have such a great time! I'm looking forward to reading more feedback from you about this concert. You
can post about it in the Micky forum and/or the Concert Review forum. I always like to see reviews in the Concert Review forum because they are easier to find
as time goes by and the other forums fill up and push non-current feedback off the first page , but people will want to read about it in the Micky forum as
well, and you may want to do both.
