Joanna P from PA was eliminated because she was ineligible and a Virginia girl got back in, I forget her name. I read it on the computer this morning.
Tatiana certainly is exceedingly annoying. But she CAN sing and when she gets onstage she doesn't do all that giggling and crying. She is just terribly
nervous.

I thought Tatiana was a bit over the top tonight. She can sing, but I think there are some other girls tonight who were better.
The only person I really feel strongly about tonight was Danny. If anybody deserves to be in the top 12, it's him. Shane

I agree that Danny should stay. As for the girl I think either Tatiana because she really was the best singer or Ann Marie.

Way to go, Danny! I'm glad to see he got in. I'm not so sure Michael Sarver really deserved his win tonight, but there always seems to be the
"regular Joe" country music type in the mix. Perhaps he's this year's. I do like Alexis Grace. I thought she was one of the better girls last
night. It remains to be seen how far she'll actually get, though. I think there are some pretty good ladies in the other 2 groups coming up in the next few
weeks.
It sure will be interesting to see if America votes for Nick, (a.k.a. Norman Gentle), next week. I'm curious to see what he'll choose to sing. It ought to be an experience. Shane

Yes, I'm glad Danny got through also. I thought there definitely were better singers than either of the other two. Of course I am referring to actual
singing ability, not showmanship or what people currently like. And I expect to see Anoop back. There are three spots for the judges to fill and I think
they favored him. I'm not happy with the idea of having to pick from three groups, I think there might have been better singers eliminated from this group
than any in the next one. I understand of course that they couldn't all sing on one night but I'm still not happy with it.

I am also very pleased that Danny is through. The girl is quite good and the other fellow is very likeable, but I dont know how versatile he will be when they
sing other styles. Tatiana was crushed, poor girl, but she didnt do that bad a job with her song - quite surprised really. But boy, didnt some of those
others crash and burn!

Been looking around Shane, and haven't found anything yet on any mentors, myself.....
This week AI won't be on till Wed cuz the Pres is on-air addressing Congress on Tues night, tonight... Does anyone else think it is taking too long for them to get to the top 12? I am getting antsy for the 'real' show to begin!

I think all of this was a way of getting people to know the contestants better before the Top 12 is in place. I know that in recent years, that has been a
criticism of the show. We certainly won't be able to say that this year! But yes, I am ready for the meat and taters of the show, too.

Exactly. He was great comic entertainment, but certainly not AI material. Most were awful, but there were a few that made it hard to choose. I'm just
waiting for the final twelve to really compare any of them. I can't stand that "holier than thou" Kara. I was sitting here yelling at her. LOL

Well tonight Adam was my fav guy and I also liked the 16 yr old girl with the red hair and the girl with the long blonde hair and tatt. Thats my pick of
tonights bunch. Nick/Norman - entertaining in an odd kind of way, but NOT an AI.

I don't know, I think Adam and Allison were the right picks tonight. I'm rather indifferent about Kris Allen's "Man In The Mirror", but
he's cute-cute-cute so I'm sure the tweenie girls all went for him.
I did like Brooke White's appearance tonight. She looked and sounded great. Reminded me of a young Carole King, in fact. Next week's group has some pretty good guys in it. It's gonna be a shame seeing some of those people let go. So I can understand what Sally's saying about being a little put off about how the powers that be decided to build the top 12. Hopefully some of those standouts will be in play for the wildcard thing. I'm still kind of clueless on how the wildcard picks will work, though. Shane

Some pretty good performances tonight and a few clunkers, too.
I liked Von Smith, and definitely think Scott Macintyre belongs in the top 12. Most of the girls were okay, but the only big standout for me was Lil Rounds at the end of the show. I think she's a sure bet. Nathaniel's take on Meatloaf was absolutely atrocious. I think he and Nickk/Norman could put together an awesome comedy duo, though! I didn't think much for Alex's Elton John tune, either. That's too bad. I wanted to like him, but this one didn't do anything for me. Shane

I thought this lot of 12 overall did better than the previous ones. Tonight I really liked Jorge, Scott, Von, Lil Round and the girl that was called back in.
Also liked a couple of the other girls. I thought Alex was quirky nerdy - he can sing well. Shame about Nathaniel's interpretation of the Meat Loaf song
- I really like that song. This coming weekend here in Sydney is the Gay and Lesbian Mardigras - they would love Nathaniel. I mean that in a good way -
honest.

I don't remember who Nathaniel was. And I definitely did NOT think this was the best group, not by any means. But after tonight and Thursday we can begin
to really form opinions as we will know who the final 12 are.
